RIVALS-IS THIS GOOD NEWS or BAD NEWS??

Will this solve Rival's and TIV's monthly reoccurences of technical problems better known as slow payment problems??? Maybe cash flow problems mentioned by several were not speculative.

As for ETHICS, the debate between both the Casino Advocates and Casino Watchdogs should be interesting. ETHICS, hummm, is it reasonable to wonder about ETHICS with Rival's/TIV's past and on-going business practices and policies (some not in writing) that seem to have been exercised at will along with Rival's/TIV's continuing violation of their own TandC's. Should be a nice combination in light of 888.com's recent management fee issues which Bryan did comment in regards, BTW!!!

Washington will love this , not jmo ftr!!!!

Thanks for the brevity of the post Nash. Getting old so cant read too much and I detest and actually refrain from wearing glasses.

This is an interesting development. I dont like 888.com at all as they did not allow me to withdraw $250 thru neteller from their poker site despite my having deposited at their casino site thru neteller. If it were 32RED, there wouldnt have been any probs. However, despite some of their roguish antics, they (888) seem to be well-funded and this is exactly what the Rivals are short of (cash). I hope this augurs well for those who have not been paid yet. Rival bombarded into the online casino scene and it would be a shame if they went out disgracefully. The games are great (with minor tech glitches) but overall this breaks the MGs,RTGs and Playtechs from monopolizing the industry. US players,in particular, are badly in need of them if they are not faring well at the MGs or RTGs.

Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Agree with you there Chuchu and I just remembered this recent thread. White labels (Lucky Asses ,oops, Aces) again and the irony of the last 2 posts in this thread.

So what will this mean to us players? Is this just to enable Rivals to process payments without problems or did 888.com take them over? I'm old and need explanations.

Without knowing particulars, much is possible but most likely as I insinuate and Chuchu hopes, this should be a source of funding of cash for Rivals (and I bet those technical problems disappear soon at Rivals at least for now)...my simple answer!!

Reading that article it just sounds like 888 are going to take some of Rival's games on license (much like Crypto licensing their games to Orbis).

At least I sincerely hope that's all it is. If 888 bought out Rival that would be very BAD for players IMHO. We've already seen how they can totally screw up their own casino (the shambolic Lucky Aces launch), their slow & occasionally problematic withdrawals, their criminal 10%/month charge for players who forget they have funds in their account and their totally bizarre increasing of their bonus WR's two-and-a-half times for players using the simplest & best way to fund their gaming (Neteller).

I hope it's the former. Hopefully this will give Rival the instant cash injection it appears they need in order to start paying players (and affiliates!) in a timely manor.

888 has recently licensed games from Crypto, Rival, Electracade, and GTS. It has nothing to do with the speed of payment processing at Rival casinos, and has everything to do with 888 trying to beef up their crappy selection of games.

A lot of people seem to be blaming the software provider for the slowness of the payment processor used by some (but not all) Rival casinos. Most Microgaming casinos also use the same processor, but it wouldn't be fair or accurate to say that all Microgaming casinos are having cash flow problems because Grand Privé didn't pay quick enough, for example.

As I said in another thread around here somewhere, I stopped recommending any Rival casino after some payment problems with them and them not living up to their own T&C's.

Now Rival has teamed up with the biggest slime ball company (in my opinion) in online gaming '888.com', I am reassured my decision to stop recommending 'This is Vegas' Casino and all the other Rival casinos was completely and entirely correct.

Man you gotta watch these online casinos, one day they can be just fine and the next they can be nose deep in the Rogue Pitt.

    I truly long for regulation...

I think this is good for Rival. 888.com wanting their games says alot for how far they have come this quickly.

I also am leaning to believing them about the late payments because even though i have only cashed out 3 times in the last month, i receive my funds within a couple of days to my e wallet. This leads me to believe it really does have alot to do with the method of withdrawal.

They have offered me great promos and are easy to get ahold of when necessary.

I still like Rival alot and will continue to play at their sites.
