Having trouble finding a legit site for US BJ

Online poker newbie here, if you couldn't tell by the title.

I'm trying to find a reliable online destination for blackjack that could possibly cater to US citizens. I'm unfamiliar with online gambling laws, and whether or not it's possible to circumvent unfavorable policies. I have searched the forum and found a number of blackjack sites, but I have been unable to determine if they will work for me as a US citizen.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! (Best on the net).

Look at the CM list of accredited casinos, or my special USA recommended page.
If you're not in one of the 11 'restricted states' you can play at MG casinos, otherwise there are a handful of RTG's, any Rival casino, or 'probably the best casino in the world' 3Dice.
You're biggest problem being in the USA is depositing & withdrawing - always check with the casino first, before depositing, what your options are, especially for withdrawals.

    Good luck!

maxf....I agree that 3Dice is a good option although their hand max. is low ($50 I believe). Rival is also good......I play at Paradise8 and Pantasia, both offer quick payout.

I recommend Bodog. They are highly recommended by most casino rankings sites, and their Blackjack rules are the most favorable for players that I've found. (They allow late surrender at the regular Blackjack table, which most casinos do not.)

All U.S. players are allowed, even if you live in one of the 11 states that are restricted by many other online casinos.

You do have to wait about two weeks after requesting a payout before you receive it because it is mailed to you. But I've never had any problems with non-payment.

Bodog is RTG, which is worse than most BJ games, IMO.

Regarding late surrender, where do you see this? They do offer the option to surrender, but only after your initial hand is dealt.
Surrender - Once a Player hits surrender, the Player will receive 50% of his current bet and 50% will go to the house. Surrender is only allowed on the first 2 cards a player receives.

I'm afraid to say that you're going to be waiting a lot longer than 2 weeks to get a check from them. The reason is NOT because it's mailed to you. The check itself is sent via FedEX 2 day service, not USPS. They simply wait until it's near the cutoff time they specify (15-25 BUSINESS days), then ship the check out. Just do a search of the forum and you'll see how long it's taking people to get paid by Bodog.

    Check By Mail Payout

After being processed from your eCash account, a mailed check should arrive in approximately 20-25 business days for most US destinations.

After being processed from your eCash account, a couriered check should arrive in approximately 15 business days for most US destinations. Note that private courier companies do not deliver to PO Boxes.
Security? Nah.....Bodog doesn't care WHO gets your check. It's beyond me why they don't bother to require a signature from the person receiving it.

If no one is available to receive the parcel when delivery is attempted, the courier may elect to leave the package at your door.

    Good point, winbig.

I guess I should clarify. What I meant to note was that their blackjack rules were the most favorable I'd found among RTG casinos. (I've been researching the reputable ones on Casinomeister's RTG list). How RTG blackjack compares to other software I don't know, as I'm just getting started in online blackjack and don't have alot of experience with the various software platforms. From your post, winbig, it sounds like some other software platforms are more favorable to the player than RTG. I look forward to educating myself.

As far as late surrender, you are right. Player is allowed to surrender AFTER being dealt their cards and after the dealer has checked their own hand for blackjack. Bodog does allow this late surrender, but the other casinomeister-accredited RTG casinos I've joined do not have any surrender options at all.

Isn't that what late surrender is? Late surrender means after the dealer peeks for BJ. Early surrender means before the dealer peeks for BJ. "Late" is another way of saying standard surrender.

    Hi there,
I thought I would post my own opinion as I am sure we all have them. I have played a few that allow USA still but I am narrowing down to a few that actually are ALMOST hassle free ( like the old days ). I truly have had a great experience with All Slots ( part of the JPFactory ) Microgaming. They take www.Quicktender.com (aka: use my wallet ) as well as they can magically get it to take a credit card ( unlike most, which means NO FEES from the wallets ). The cashouts are made in 24-48 hrs and appear back in your Quicktender account in approx. 3-5 business days from time of cashout. You can play longer than most on your money (which is hard to come by ) and if you are smart enough when you win ( unlike me ) you can cashout more often. I tend to be more greedy than smart (lol) most times.
Truly, I do enjoy the games there the most and the support staff speaks ENGLISH and well ~! ( shocker )
They also have tournaments that you can play that run most all day.
I do believe they are on the accredited sites here as well.

Good luck to you, I have been where you are ( searching for a decent place )
and I do believe I have found it with All Slots ~~
