Hell, I've only played at Blackjack Ballroom a few times, and if I don't play for a couple of weeks, they e-mail me with a $20.00 bonus to play with. I think that is generous and smart as it keeps me going back to play there weather it's on their money or my own.![]()
john from this is vegas did the same for me on christmas, and i have never played there before, he pm me and gave me a free 25.00 i appreciate his kindness.

I do not, as a rule, ask for free chips. I participate in promotions, and if I have a bad beat, or feel neglected, I simply switch my play elsewhere. This usually has the effect of the casino instigating action such as offering a free chip and/or an extra bonus on the next deposit. This works pretty much all the time if I am down over the lifetime of my account, and sometimes even works if I am an overall winner at the casino.
They will not do this forever though, after a couple of offers they will realise that I am not coming back anytime soon, and that perhaps there is a bigger reason for my departure.
Sadly, players in the US do not have as many options, and casinos know this, and know they can be harder on US players as they are limited in where they can move on to.
These retention offers tend to come from a higher level than CS, who are probably now told NOT to give out free chips without going through procedures, and saying "NO" is a lot easier than going through histories and procedures to see if a free chip can be offered.
Where I HAVE raised the issue with casinos, it is because I have seemed to have been dropped from REGULAR offers, and far from being neutral treatment, this is NEGATIVE treatment where I have been singled out for WORSE treatment than "loyal players". Such casinos tend to be the first to make space on my hard drive, even before those with "crap" but regular promotions that I still get invited to.
Barring a progressive jackpot, or a rare huge win (such as a pat RF on a big bet, or 5 wilds on a slot free spin round), the casinos will win in the long term, even though I can be well ahead at individual casinos over an extended period of time.
Perhaps there is a mentality that players that ask, even occasionally, for a free chip are "bonus abusers".

What I don't understand - At all the Rival casinos, when your winning they always give you free chips. I dont need them when I've got money to play with, I need the free money when I'm not winning. I'm not complaining I'll take free money at any time just seems strange.![]()
I've read many posts of members getting these unsolicited bonuses from certain casinos and their reps and, like others, I have never asked for a free chip. Hmmm, maybe I need to put out the needy vibe and see what happens
Or maybe a more direct approach?
Let's see......
Attention reps for Casino Rewards, MiniVegas, Pantasia, 400Group, ThisIsVegas, Superior, ClubWorld, INetBet, 3Dice and any other casino in which I've lost lately: show me the bonus!

I have not asked for any free chips, although I have been thrown a couple of retention bonus from the CR group.
At land based casinos you have to ask for a meal comp, and a B&M casino Thousand Island Charity Casino in Gananoque, Ontario twenty minutes from home, refused me a $7.00 comp for breakfast after rapidly losing $1000 without as much as one $50.00 win, as I had not "played enough". I spent $1000 a month there for well over a year, and was so incensed I have not been back in over 4 years. I have to travel at least two hours to gamble elsewhere, but I feel that lose a customer that loses regularly over a small sum is poor management. Go ahead and attach any kind of W/R you want to a freebie, I want my playtime.
