    medieval moolah

ok firstly i do like this game so, this is not a complaint just an observation!
this is one streaky ass game, ive played at many different casinos with different software but this game here either you win a truckload or u go belly up fast!Personally i like it cause u can turn a little into a ton but most of the time as i have been noticing that happens rarely like any other slot!

i would like to get opinions on the bonus round with the catapult! Is it your guys thoughts that there is some skill involved or is ur outcome really set no matter where u click!I would like to think its up to where u click the square but knowing slot machines and playing them for many years im leaning towards its for show and your prize is determined by the random generator like all other slots ive played.

It's not my favorite game at 3Dice that's for sure. The first few times I got the catapult bonus it was o.k.. Now, I almost hope not to get the bonus shots! It is slow, pays very little unless you hit all the damn targets, and I just wish it was a pick em bonus. Pick 3, 4, 5 objects, whatever. I just feel like it slows the game way down. Also, the cutesy little knights and skulls, etc. - I could do without it all. I hope they come out with some other slots there, as I rarely play their slots.

had to chime in on this one i've put a lot of time into this game and can't imagine there are too many people who have played it as much as i have.

by far my favorite game at 3dice in almost every aspect (though i can lose a lot on it too.) i've read some people say it's medium to slight high variance, but like all the slots at 3dice, i think it's very high variance which has it's good and bad of course.

the game is fun i think because you can win a lot on the reels as well as the bonus though i agree the bonus usually is counter-productive, but not always. if you think of the wilds like sort of a secondary bonus, than you have something to look forward to on every spin.

the graphics and gameplay are superb and the thought and work put into the game is quite obvious.

the game is high variance, the important symbols are clustered together on the reels much like the tut game, so the good hits tend to be very good on multiple lines. the drain on your bankroll can be suprising so i would recommend a bankroll that is at least 500x your bet if you want a chance at a little play time. ($300 if you bet .60, for example) if you only want to play a half-hour or so, 200x your bet will be good and you still have a chance at a "big" hit.

generally, a good hit that leads to a cashout will have to be about 500-1000x your bet (depending on what your "cashout" criteria is) because anything that is up to 300x your bet will be taken back quite quickly. your great wins will come on the reels, not the bonus, but they are rare and usually have to involve at least 3 wild suns with multiple combinations of pigs and dragons on one spin.

Regarding the bonus....think of the payouts as fitting a slightly skewed bell curve with a win of 12x-24x your bet as the middle, or top of the curve. also, don't get too excited about getting 4 or 5 scatters...in my experience, getting to the top with 3 scatters is usually better than what you get with the 4 or 5. hitting the bonus has been a confusion to me for a while only because sometimes it seems to hit with high frequency and other times it's extremely rare....no in betweens so i have no idea what the odds of hitting the bonus would be.

as for the bonus itself, i'll leave it to you to figure out

    all IMHO of course

I saw a pegboard type bonus - tortoise and hare? in the devo stage after the game was released. Variance incarnate. I'm guessing they're saving it for another game. Choose your V before you lay your money down...

The graphic was public knowledge on 3dice.com it just didn't make it into moolah at the last minute. I'd prefer if it weren't a bonus choice, but a game choice. Easy enough to do.

I (and I know Slotwizard has came to the same conclusion) believe there is no
skill involved. It is predetermined how many targets you hit.

A strong evidence for this is that if there are two bonus squares touching
each other, you can never miss-fire and hit the other bonus square while
    targeting the first.

Lojo, that would be fantastic to get to choose the variance on the games in advance. With MG you can change the games you play to change variance, but some games I have formed an attachment to, but might not have the bankroll to play it for any length of time or there are days I want to play hard and fast in the hope of a big win and the game doesn't support that type of play because of variance.

I woulld imagine that doing so would open the casinos up to too many complaints that the paytables are skewed unfairly in one way or the other if that should happen. Or unsuspecting newbies hitting the super high variance button and getting wiped out in seconds. A CS nightmare.

    Back on topic:
The first time I got Med Moolah bonus I stressed over the aiming , the second time I realised it was a simple picking game. Pick the right target and a win would be hiding underneath, pick the wrong one and you get diverted to a skull. In some games all targets have wins on them. Some only one or two.

Perhaps the game could have an extra bonus screen either choose the mystery bonus win or play the aiming game, to speed things up- for those who don't want to go through all the aiming and firing. I like MM, but like all slots I love them for a while then I want something new.

MG's monthly releases are great even if they are clones; its something different to look at while waiting for that big win

As always 3d responds to players wants and needs. I drew a line between what they almost offered (i saw the pegboard) and my wishes for a game that 'anyone' could manipulate the variance in (my guess is that the 'pegboard' ended up being the 'field'

I see them incorporating player suggestions, but in the mean time you can play at inetbet and bet $5 on one line, or one$ on five lines, or... get it? We have our own way to control variance.

I only have two suggestions for 3Dice games:

If the max bet is six bucks, let me bet that on one line
If Tie bet on Casino War pays me before the gamble DO NOT ASK me if I want to bet anyway.

I totally agree with your analogy zoozie, this has always been my experience with these type of games. Once you touch the button or trigger the bonus the outcome has already been predetermined..
