Here's about the only way I'd use a bonus today...

    • Deposit
    • Increase my odds
    • Megamulah!!!!

    here's my experience:

played at "reputable" rtg, made deposits with weekly bonuses, no problems. the casino e-mails me a bonus that's a little better than the weekly bonus so i take it. the weekly bonus had no restrictions except the playthrough, however, the one that they e-mailed me had a 10x deposit withdrawal limit in tiny, tiny print on the bottom of the e-mail which i later learned about after:

i won a big random jackpot!!! (but i still got $2000)

they assured me they would put the remainder back into the random jackpot, but, no..... THEY kept it.

unless you are very actively aware of the bonuses you are taking, i'm afraid that they are usually the casino's method of basically "cheating" you out of any chance of winning.

when i play at b & m casinos in vegas or here in california, i get "free" money and free slot play all the time. i can't even imagine a slot host coming up to me and saying:

"congratulations on your win sir, but you'll have to spin 5000 more times before i can pay you, and i can only pay you 10x what you initially put into the machine. also, my fellow host tells me you played a few hands of blackjack, that makes your slot win null and void. please just step away from the machine. also, if you do try to cash out, we'll have to ask you not to come back again. we also noticed that you didn't fill in your middle name when you signed up for the slot club. to verify identity, please pee in this cup. thank you for playing with us."

Alice: But I don't want to go among mad people.
The Cat: Oh, you can't help that. We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.
