One way to help fix slow spins and download, is to turn OFF your security firewall and also any anti virus programmes..This happened with my wifes an also my sons computers, once the anti virus was turned off the spins improved, by about 1 to 2 seconds per spin. If you have McAfee it will turn back on when you restart your PC ,so you have to turn it off each time you want to play the tournies.

I see they're finally starting to add new games, Avalon and Loaded. Does the name "classic re-buys" supposed to mean anything? 1000 rebuys, wow, anyone want to max that one out?

Is anyone else having trouble signing up for these "Classic ReBuys" at Royal Vegas? Every time I try to sign up for the Avalon one I get the message "You can only join this tournament when the game is fully downloaded." So I left the casino open for the last 4 hours and it's still not downloaded. I can't find any info on their site about it and I see a ton of people are already listed.

Maybe it's just my old tired computer but I get a lot faster spins by turning sound off. Never have any problems getting to 0 unless I get freespins.

Can't see why they don't increase the time though by 50-100%, just too annoying to get freespins late and get cut off.

I agree - maybe they could just stop the timer when you're in free spins? That Golden Idol bonus round in Tomb Raider eats up some time too.

So now that I won a free ticket to $20 000 weekender tournament can I play the "free ticket to 20k$" again for another ticket and can I use this ticket to play the continue option which otherwise costs 20$? If not what happens if I win a second ticket to 20k$? Can I cash out one of them for 20$?

No No No No!!!!

It is a complete and total waste to win more than ONE entry to the weekender, extras are just absorbed by the system without compensation. They are not even carried over to the following week, let alone acting as credits towards a rebuy.
There is no point in playing the feeder if any casino has offered you a free entry. Take the free entry and forget the feeders.
The ONLY possible dodge is to win the feeder and withdraw from the tournament, keeping the $20, but I have heard that this no longer works, as once entered you are committed.

I see that the formats have changed for the new avalon/loaded tourneys - and Im not sure if its for the better.

You can now REBUY rather than continue - up to 1000 times in the first tourney - and NO continues are available.

I also received an invite for a $10 tourney with avalon where you can CONTINUE twice for $5 a pop, and REBUY 5 times @$10. So you could effectively spend $100 if you wanted. However, as Vinyl pointed out, the rebuys etc DONT go back into the pool so it sucks in a big way.

Tourneys are obviously a licence to print money for the casinos, and so are not a good bet for the player. The only positive is that you can win a big prize from a relatively small outlay, but you can do that on bingo too
