I can't win at slots or life

I've dropped $100 at Europa slots and haven't hit a single winning line. WTF gives. Has anyone else had a run like this before, I want to give up on life?

If losing a $100 makes u feel like that I'd consider getting a life and not gambling again..........ever.........

Sorry to be so blunt but if you keep playing your gonna lose alot of 100's, thats just the way it is......

give up on life because your on a losing streak, that is, if you consider losing $100 once a losing streak.

Ive been on a losing streak for weeks, except at a real one, but online, I havnt cashed out since who knows when, atleast 6-8 weeks.

I dont think losing $100 has anything to do with you giving up on life, if that were the case, we'd all be dead in here. Get over the loss, take a break and think about what you want out of life because your not gonna get much sympathy in here over a $100 loss.

Again, not to be harsh, but you may be in need of some help or soul searching

    Good Luck

Giddy Up - Please put this in perspective. A $100 can be alot to people. I had to learn a hard lesson with online gambliing in the online gambling heyday. when adding up the deposits over six months it was in the thousands. Not good. I regrouped and if I can't afford it I don't play. Neither did I beat myself up over what I could have done with lost money. Put it behind you and find other solutions to solve problems. Take care and talk to Babs.

I agree with the other's posts above, though maybe slightly more sympathetic.
    However I'm a little confused about 2 things;

Why the question mark after life? Are you asking us?

"Not a single winning line" with $100 wagered...?
Extraordinarily unlikely unless you were playing $25 / spin or something!

Why not share your betting pattern (i.e. how much/spin) & the slot(s) you were playing with the rest of us and then maybe we can help you put this into perspective.

Successful slots play is possible, but does require high levels of patience & self control.
If you don't have these then do yourself a favor & don't play slots.

try something like blackjack. it is approximately ten times better of a game in terms of house take. and you will certainly get lots of wins in between the losses, unlike in slots where more the majority of the combinations yield no win. just make sure you learn basic strategy, but that takes all of ten minutes to master and you can play with the strategy table right in front of you until you get it memorized.

i had no job for a long time, and i was able to stay afloat by gambling, but after a few months, you can't win all the time. my funds got eroded, i was spending on credit, borrowing from people to make car insurance, but i got out of it. right after i got a new job, i made a few small deposits and started winning again in the casinos. it's swings/variance, in life as they come also in gambling.

just go one day at a time, don't gamble when you can't afford it, and don't let gambling get the best of you. there's so much else out there than tables and machines. gambling is a cruel mistress, and sometimes you need to leave her alone for a while if she's sucking you dry and making you miserable. but there's no reason to give up on everything because one aspect of your life is failing you. you'll come out of it. take care,

    your pal, hGb

More info required. If he was spinning at 25c or 50c a line, then losing $100 without hitting a single winning line is really of some concern. BTW, do you mean Europa casino ie Playtech. Which slots did u play?

    inspiring and helpful posts everyone.

sometimes it takes a lot of ups and downs and downs and downs to put things in perspective. i went through some trying times and it took the support of my loving wife to help me put things where they belong. gaming is just entertainment and nothing more. if you don't keep that in mind, then it can become a huge negative factor in your life instead of what it should be, which is entertainment.

please... don't tie your daily life and happiness into a slot. it will turn you bipolar and effect your moods when it comes to the more important things like family and friends.

Giddy up, i don't know if you were serious or just kinda joking, but you can see the people here get concerned with any post dealing with gambling and "life."

    wishing you the best

    Hey there Giddy Up,
When I am on a losing streak I change casinos. I dont depsit more then $20-$40 and if things look bleak then they usually are not going to get better. Although it only takes one spin to change that right? Anyway I go with my gut feeling and mostly it works. If you are seriously depressed then I doubt it has much to do with online gaming. If you are having a hard time financially and you keep playing because you are hoping to win your money back or are hoping to hit a big win to get you out of a rut, then as some of the other posters said, that's not a good idea. Do you need someone to talk to? You can pm me anytime. I understand all about that "lonely road of faith" and, as alot of others here, understand how you can feel really beaten up and broken from gaming. That's when you need to step back. Like the others said, maybe stay away for awhile and go a little deeper and find out really what's bothering you. Do you stay with the same casino? I, myself like microgaming the best and find "moonshine" & "jellyfish jaunt" pay the most for me. It may be just luck but whenever I'm not doing so well, if I go to "moonshine" it almost always gets me out of my rut. Anyway, good luck to you and as I said, pm me anytime if you want to talk. Take Care,
    Patrina
