    In no certain order -

    Aesthetics:

    1. Easy to navigate
    2. The "lobby" being unique - not just a "rebranded" template.
    3. Pleasing to the eyes - no wild colors/images

    Technical:

    4. Software that doesn't crash all of the time
    5. Software that doesn't hog system resources

    It's a shame that RTG/MG/Playtech software won't allow for #2 & #3. Kudos to 3Dice, Rival/etc for providing this uniqueness.

MG is notorious for #5. 3Dice would be a close 2nd, but it doesn't hog resources, it just requires a better video card to run pretty good.
Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...

I know that players choice will slightly vary..yet I feel there will be a certain "core" of answers.

I must say your views WinBig are certainly close to mine, personally Im all about the reliablitly and playability.

...havent ever seen 3dice.com..maybe check it out...

    Cheers

    Tough (but very good) question!
Off the top of my head (which means I might change my mind later... )

    1. Easy to access & understand game logs with full at-a-glance details - like Crypto's!

    2. Ability to change the 'game window' to any size you want without screwing up your computer's display settings - like WagerWorks.

    3. Players able to chose to only download the games they want - like all the main softwares except MG & Playtech (I think...?)

    4. Clear banking screen which shows exactly how much you are allowed to withdraw, and software which processes & makes the payment within 24 hours! (No reverse withdrawal period).

    5. Software which prevents players from playing in any style which the casino deems abusive, so there is NEVER a case for confiscating winnings based on 'irregular gameplay' or any similar BS excuse.

    Sorry, 5 is not enough!

    6. Good choice of completely unique slots - with near infinitely adjustable betting levels - like most MG slots.

    7. Software which starts up very quickly without doing loads of very suspicious & apparently unnecessary 'upgrades' (are you listening MG & RTG?)

    In conclusion:
If only they would slightly upgrade their older slots (to spin a little faster and be less jerky) and introduce almost infinite slot betting levels like MG have, then CryptoLogic would be just about my perfect software.

    KK
    Smile, it may never happen...

To further a point KK made, or expand...

If there is a bonus involved I'm not interested in playthrough; either accept my bet or deny it - if the slots playthrough is 30x just give me 1/30th of my coming return when I win (would that work?)

Any way it can be worked out, the sw has to simply accept or reject bets and pay if i win, no complicated manipulatable, un-understandable T&C's.

There are many thing that are important when choosing between online casino software. Some are functional aspects, others are aesthetic and then there are x-factors in form of being offered something special. Boiled down to five factors:

    1. The software has to be fair based on a Random Number Generator
    2. The software must have a logical design so that it is easy to navigate between different sections.
    3. The casino software should contain a wide selection of games and game variations.
    4. The combination of sound and graphics must provide a gaming experince that differentiates it from other online casinos.
    5. The software must not contain viruses and spyware.
