Bonuses are they really worth it?

I always manage to do well playing MG. But I also manage to lose out trying to meet wager requirements. Are $25, $50, $100 or even $200 bonuses even worth the trouble of trying to clear. I have been over $400+ and still have $150 in bonuses in my clear play account. This has been time and time again. Are they really even worth the trouble to clear? Im thinking about straight cash for now on. I hardly ever have a session where im not a head and lose because of these got damn bonuses.

I use to use em.....not anymore, for the very same reason you just mentiond .
I always found my self winning in the middle of the WR and ALMOST never at very end of em.
I said almost, cuz one time,at Crystal Palace, I won the RJ after the WR.
That was it...........just a nice moment in my gambling life.

In my case, definitely yes for 2 distinct reasons:-

1. Bonuses give you more playing time & a 'buffer' if you get off to a bad start.

2. Bonuses give you a stopping point (when you meet the WR) when you can withdraw & move on to the next bonus.
Otherwise how do you know when to stop, or indeed will you ever stop?
Unless you are going to completely stop gambling, or hit a very large progressive jackpot, why ever withdraw at all if you're not going on to claim a bonus elsewhere...?

Depending on the bonus, if you can withdraw after a big win and forfeit the bonus you should do so. Now I've had some good luck with bonuses, but when you can't cash anything out and you get a big win it really sucks to grind through the WR seeing your winning dwindle.

Bonuses is what has allowed me to win a few thousand USD during the summer though, you just gotta be careful and read the terms. And only take a bonus from a reputable casino, preferable an accredited one.

I understand what each and everyone of you are saying. But is it worth the extra trouble of trying to complete wagering requirement. Let's say I took a $100 bonus on a $100 deposit. And won up to $750 and still need to complete $2500 in slots. I might end up with $400 trying to complete it. But if I would have just used $200 of my own money. I could easily cashed out $750. Or better yet. $500 and still have $250 to play with. With bonuses they don't allow this. I think I should treat online just like a B&M casino. At a B&M casino you must wager your "own" money. It would be a different story if table games counted 100%.

I bet everyone here has been up pretty nice and hated the fact they still had to finish wagering and end up losing it all. After today session I am convinced that bonuses are not for me. Infact I am chosen my top 3 MG and only playing there with my money. They can have the bonuses up to $25 (I can clear that alright and it covers depositing fees).

Bonus sounds good and does give you some more playtime, but it isn't really worth trying to meet the WR and lose more than you could have gotten out of it, if you wouldn't. It is always the same. Only a very-very small percentage of players is lucky enough to cash out more using a bonus and meeting all the WR. I personally don't like WR bonuses and I avoid claiming them (especially match bonuses).

I like Royal Vegas because you can take your winnings straight away even if you haven't met the WR. Sure you can't withdraw the bonus, but no big deal.
I don't know any other MG casinos that allow you to do so (except Fortune Lounge), but it is probably because I don't play anywhere else. I tried many MG casinos - no luck or really miserable customer support.

There is also another casino I do love, because the match bonus has NO WR at all . You can claim 20% bonus on each deposit if you have accumulated enough comps. This is probably the very best deal online and this is also one of the main reasons I keep depositing with this casino.

But I do like birthday bonuses or other casino free chips although they have WR .

Wait, why are people complaining about restrictions on Microgaming bonuses? You can generally withdraw these any time you want! (sure, you walk away from any bonus balance, but so what?)

Look at it this way, most MG bonuses, played "normally" are still money-losing propositions. If you ended up with a $100 bonus, then clearing it on slots will, on average, lose you about $120. So the main benefit of a bonus is just like KK wrote, they let you extend playtime, and also give you a reasonable stopping point.

They can often be turned into moneymakers by playing really aggressively, so that you often bust out, but also often have big wins. The typical example is to bet the entire amount on one hand, then if you win, grind out the rest. Of course, such bonus-hustling requires a bankroll, discipline, careful reading of terms, and a little bit of math.

Clear pay bonuses on MG casino's I will take. You can withdraw whenever you want, you just forfeit the bonus balance. It's essentially a sticky bonus until WR's are met.

Bonuses on RTG's are another story because you can't withdraw anything until you've wagered enough. I do take the odd bonus, depending on how much I am planning to deposit. If I only have $25 to deposit, I will look for a bonus to extend playing time. If I have $100, I will usually not take a bonus..

WR's are a pain but I do know that I have had quite a few sessions that turned out to be winning sessions thanks to the extra $ in my account... they extend play time and give you more chances to hit that magic spin or bonus round that changes it all.
