    My first Poll. 888.com opinions.

I am a British ex-ex-pat in Spain and now live in Thailand.

Just down the road from me was a rather large granite rock they call Gibraltar home to many gaming establishments and the infamous 888.com.

What are the overall opinions of all of you of this group. They are accredited (with E-cogra) I think and promote stuff for GA (noticably a charity they founded themselves). They are promoted quite feverently in the UK, with Middlesborough FC being sponsored by them.

Personally I thought they were a decent online casino. However, their lack of games and seemig 'We are God' mentality makes me wary of dealing with them again.

    What are you thoughts?

There have been lots of problems with 888.com - I don't want to comment but I beleive they are many, many operators out there that deserve to be on CM rather then them.

Land of Smiles, where about were you living in Spain? And how come you relocated to Thailand? How did you get a visa?

    Hi Christoff.

    Hi Christoff.

I lived near Marbella and relocated to Thailand as I wanted to teach English to under-priviledged kids.

Became a teacher and now teach. Use online gaming as a way to supplement income (pocket-money really)

As a teacher the company that you work for, providing they are reputable, sort out all the visa paperwork for you at no cost.

The wages are crap, but then again the quality of life out here is so cheap and the place is beautiful, as are the girls, plus I have some money in the bank.

Anyway, logging off for the eve.

    LOS.

I never had problems with them. I was surprised when I didn't saw 888 in the accredited list.

    888 = A bunch of scumbags.

As far as I am concerned 888 is the worst of the worst.

My dealings with 888 management in the past have taught me that the folks that run 888 have, in my opinion, no problems at all with getting involved with just about any kind of dirty deal as long as it will make them some money.

I have even seen the folks from 888 shill forums before...

If they met Bryan's standards they would be accredited. I don't know what their failing is...?

Personally I have no problems with them, apart from totally crap ongoing promotions for their players.
I took full advantage of their very generous & easy sign-up bonus (+$300) and a few subsequent offers, but recently they have offered nothing even slightly interesting while dozens of other casinos have!

Never any problem with their software or withdrawals (very slow - but does not bother me), all very smooth for me.

Snow's over - back to work - nothing to see here...

For some reason every time I log into William Hill I get a pop-up for 888.com. Any casino that uses these kind of tactics should not be accredited IMO.

They have a bad reputation for spamming and upset alot of affiliates in the past.
The casino software in my opinion is slow and limited....not somewhere i would chose to play
The poker software ( pacific ) has been recently upgraded and is now much better, i have played here most days for nearly 7 years without any major problems, when i have had a problem it has been sorted straight away.
