It's not my preferred slot, and it can be VERY cold and cruel, but Good To Go can give you really big wins from small bets. Secret Admirer is the exact same as Good To Go but with a different theme.

I would suggest starting out with 9-cent bets, and then play 100 spins; if you still haven't gotten the feature after the 100 spins then up your bet to 18 cents, and repeat, and so on and so forth.

But even when you do this, your maximum possible win under ideal circumstances is capped at 284x. You can get a higher return from other games with higher variance (like Isis) but I wouldn't recommend trying Isis if you have a small bankroll. In fact I wouldn't recommend trying Isis with any bankroll.

Slightly different subject, but what slot lets you play the longest without going busto? If I have $100 which slot do you think gives me the most play for my buck?

I would say Ho Ho Ho - start out at 15 cent bets (1 penny per line) for 50 spins, and keep increasing your bet every 50 spins until you get the free spins, then reset back to 15 cents and start over again.

You might find it boring, so you could start with a higher bet size but you would have a higher risk of going broke. But this game is one of the easiest ones (most of the time) to get the free spins, and because you get 20 free spins it retriggers a lot more often than other games too.

You might also like Elementals or Cabin Fever (they're the same, but I prefer Elementals) - start out at 20 cents (1 penny per line) and do the same thing - 50 spins, if no feature then up your bet to 40 cents and play another 50 spins, etc.

Why do you increase your bets over time ? Did you found something ? Normally i play a slot with the same bets all the time, around 1$ a spin. Why should i start low and increase over time ?

I agree. My experience is that it's different payout schemes for different bets. Its also easy to notice, when you change bet limit the system will hang abit to get the next line of spins, like when spinning on same bet you have nice flow in the spins. Change bet, and you get an extra second or so before first spin comes. Also many people say when the machine is hot, it's nice to increase the bet. My findings here is if the machine is "hot", stay on this bet since this is the bet that is hot. Increase, no winnings, go back and winnings come back. Atleast that is my experience.

On MG (and most other) slots the chances of hitting the feature is once in every 130 - 150 spins.
Many players (including me!) believe that the more spins you go without the feature hitting, the more likely it is, so we increase our bets.
I have been doing this with some very good successes for over two years. (Some bad losses too, it must be said)
I don't like to openly plug my site here, but if you go to my 'Beginners Guide to Slots' page there are some links to excel spreadsheets showing how this system works for me.

As for lowest variance slots on MG, I would say most are the 9-liners, especially Ladies Nite, Spring Break, Thunderstruck, What on Earth & Witches Wealth.
Others I have found low variance are Halloweenies, Age of Discovery & Dyno Might.

Of course, others will have different opinions based on their personal experience and even the slots I mention are capable of giving diabolical returns just as much as any other slot.

As for best return for smallest bet... very difficult question!
Potentially free-spin slots which can re-trigger could give you a mega win, as can slots with high or variable multipliers, like Harveys where you can get your win multiplied by 25!
Right now I'm in to Glory of Rome (as the feature is almost guaranteed to give a good return), Dolphin Tale (take 5 or 10 spins for the big multipliers) and Magic Spell where lucky pickings can net a nice payout!

    Smile, it may never happen...

I just realized I've become interested in high-variance MG slots as well. Mainly for those circiumstances where my balance is under a buck, and I"m just about to redeposit (or just quit) and want to clean out my balance. I play on a "win quick or go home" strategy, so if I am down to .50, I need nuclear-level variance.

Is ISIS pretty much regarded as the champ?

The attraction of Isis is the the feature gives you 20 spins all at x6 multiplier, BUT... the problem with this slot is that big wins are very rare and 6 x 0 is still 0.
If you do catch a 5-of-a-kind you'll get a VERY big payout, but you're far more likely to just get a handful of 3oak's or even 2 10's.

For big multipliers with a better chance of good wins, I prefer Harveys, Loaded, Dolphin Tale & Santa Paws (which I believe is the same as Avalon, only 10 x more fun to play!)

Good advice KK, i would add Prime property to those mentioned games as well tho, set on low lines (which still give the opportunity for big wins) you can win a relatively high amount of money on this slot if the bonus comes out and you pick well
