MANSION ONLINE GAMBLING GROUP CHOOSES PLAYTECH PLATFORM

90 games to be delivered in new download gambling suite.

The rumours that the Mansion online gambling group was about to switch software platforms to Playtech were confirmed this week in press releases from both companies.

Under the terms of the licence agreement, Playtech will provide Mansion with its download casino portfolio of over 90 games, and integrate its thoroughly proved back-end with Mansion’s system. The product will be tailored to meet the global demand for a range of local style games for players around the world. Playtech and Mansion are also discussing the possibility of extending the range of other products that Playtech can provide.

Mor Weizer, Chief Executive Officer of Playtech, commented: “We are delighted to have signed this new licence agreement with Mansion and look forward to a productive working relationship. The agreement reflects our ability to provide high quality gaming products which are suited to the local gaming customs of players around the world. They had their own proprietary software. They used to be listed here at Casinomeister, but due to some bad screwups they were removed from the accredited list.

Perhaps the new software will give them the motivation from being so damn disorganized.

Here's hoping! Not as though there's really been many issues with Playtech software outfits though...

I wonder how you 'bid' for software licence from the software providers perspective? Do casino operators, or potential operators, go out to market and try to cut the best deal? Or is it the other way round? Do you have to 'apply' to the software provider and you're either accepted or not? Do software providers employ salespeople to canvass their competition to try and get them to switch loyalty?

I think it's a great shame that these 'independent' softwares are vanishing to be replaced by the 'big four'.

I don't think the old software has bit the dust yet. The original Mansion software was instant play and appears to still be in use in their instant play casino. They added a download casino using Playtech software.
