MG Practice Mode - BUSTED!!

For the following experiment, you need TWO computers.

Computer A - Sign into Practice Play
Spin slot till free spins triggered
Exit casino without taking spins.

Now move to computer B

Log in to SAME CASINO, SAME ACCOUNT & select Practice Play.
Go to same slot.
Play bonus round NOT!!!! - It AINT THERE!!!!!!!!!!!

Go back to computer A (having logged off computer B)

Log into casino and check slot
Bonus round BACK AGAIN!!!!!!!!

Things to note,
Your practice balance will be different between different computers, and the Practice play DOES HAVE PLAYCHECK, but it is different, so must be "local" to each computer.

During spins, if internet is disconnected during practice play the slot stalls (reels keep spinning), so it at least uses the server to play, rather than the local PC (like other software).

How can this be? Does practice play have an account generated for each PC used? Wouldn't that stuff the server full of crap?
Is play & game state only stored locally, and only the RNG is taken from the server?
Does lots of practice play fill your PC with crap (the playcheck data)?

As MG seem to think it's OK to use up vast amounts of your disk space with dozens and dozens of games you don't want, I don't think they would have any reservations about creating masses of data files too. Especially as a years worth of this data would likely take up far less room than say the code for just one slot.

Interesting discovery - I presume that in Real Money mode the bonus round does still appear on both PC's?

Surely the same would apply to real play then? The only difference is an account number. It's a bit worrying that the state of the game is stored locally though, if that's the case?

What if you log onto the flash casino after playing on the download?

Someone needs to try this on real play at .9p a spin or summat...

It is common for softwares to do things locally for practice mode, and use an external server for real mode. For example, Cryptologic states "When playing for real money these numbers are generated by InterCasino's UNIX gaming server. When playing in practice mode, these numbers will be generated by your computer's Windows random number generator." Playtech allows you to play in practice mode while completely offline and disconnected from the external server.

I understand that, but what VW is saying is that the RNG still comes from the server - whereas some of the information is stored locally. It's either one or the other with the rest, which would lead you to believe there's a combination of the two in real play too.

In real mode the free spins will appear on another computer if I recall correct, just try flipping between flash casino and the install. I wouldnt be surprised if the free-play has higher payout aswell, just to get you into real play mode.

If playcheck data isn't availabe in play mode, maybe it isn't stored anywhere?

The state of your free play account (balance, pending free spins, etc) is stored locally on your computer. The state of your real money account is stored on the server. What's the problem?

How exactly does this make them "busted"? Unless you think that by using the windows RNG this changes the house edge?

Hmm that only means that the status of a game is saved on your computer. Why would someone wanted to stop free game spins to go on another computer to resume it ?
