Blue Square - a point of interest

Hi all, I suppose a bit of a boring post but may be of interest to someone!

Deposited a fairly large sum with BS yesterday, the screen said Deposit Successful but the funds didn't actually appear on my account. This is the second time this has happened in the last few weeks.

Rang customer service and they told me not to worry. Approx 1 in 500 deposits get 'lost' in the system and when they have found it, they would credit my account. The agent could see the deposit was there on the screen but needed to 'find' the funds. Eeeerrr, well that's good then. Totally polite and no hassle in the end but a bit disconcerting.

Onto the games. Up to yesterday, I have never really pulled out of the hat a big'ish win (say £500 + from a £3 bet) from any of their slots unlike Microgaming where it happens often...albeit it not that often But Cleopatra, 50,000 Pyramid and Wheel of Fortune were on fire. In fact, quite liked Cleo in comparisom to say Thunderstruck / Spring Break etc. The rest of the games seem pretty boring with features that you no in advance the maximum you can win. Slotwise, Microgaming are still the one for me.....and after a real horror show with RTG (see previous post if you can be bothered), can't find anyone else that welcomes UK players without hassle and pays them without hassle too. Have a good weekend all!

I have had this issue with bsq twice, but each time they have rectified it within the hour and apologised. They are a good operation, even gave me $1,000 on my Birthday - and linked to the Mecca bingo group in some way judging from the similarities of the sites, though not delved into that one. The bonuses are fairly regular too if you are a medium roller and they are credited "post wagering", like most UK "bookies" casinos, meaning when they arrive, you have no restrictions left to worry about.

They pay quick too - just 2 working days from cashout to UK bank account. Plus, no reverse withdrawal time (a Wagerworks feature). One last nice touch is that you can play "for fun" instantly without registering

Being a Yank, I don't get to play those online (except fun mode at skybet and BSq) but I always spend a few hours with Cleo when I'm at a B&M, and my girl always plays Monopoly.

Atmosphere aside, the IGT slots just feel different online and on land. I tend to think they hit very differently.

Each software online is a different ball of wax to me. I have a 'feel' for microgaming, and pretty much 'know' if I'm going to lose my wad or not. With RTG, I just haven't got it figured yet.

For UK play, I'd PM Simmo or KK or VWM for personal advice. These guys are solid and wouldn't lead you wrong.

personal post script: On the 'what would you do' poll I voted 'reach a settlement'. Glad it turned out good for you. My advice might have cost you

ppps: For AWP games, I like Gee Gees, it's weird and wonderful

Not a boring post at all - it's the sort I love!
Very interesting information about the 'lost funds' and always good to hear other people's opinions about different casinos / softwares.

I'm still waiting for Zoozie to do a review of the all WagerWorks slots....

    .......

...interesting that the 'lost' funds situation has happened to others as well. As already said, they did resolve it...and quickly...which is all good.

I guess I am a bit of a 'free spins' sucker and therefore find most of the other slots fairly boring. Also, why does it take sooooo long to release new slots in comparison to others companies.

Anyway, thanks everyone for their responses. This place, like free spins, is becoming addictive
