Neteller treats its customers in the worst possible way. Just see what they did to their turkish customers: on March 26 they stopped IMMEDIATELY processing ANY transactions for turkish customers. So i had a lot of money at different casinos and now it is stuck. At least they gave 2 weeks to canadians to withdraw the funds. They didn't bother to give us, their turkish customers, even one day for that (not even one minute). In their statement regarding this issue they underlined that turkish customers never constituted any substantial amount of their business. I suppose that was the reason why they treated us this unrespectful way.

The AIM market compliance department said that such a suspension could last for up to six months before it was scrutinised.
So it is not a rule, but an admin opinion in the end? I'm struggling to understand the implications for neteller and the moneys they hold. It would be sickening if every leveraged penny wasn't at least paid out in devalued currencies and neteller didn't have to pay a bigger price in the end than enron did. c'est la vie?

It would appear that way. Neteller will have to tread very carefully in this area as there will be impatient investors watching every move they make imo.

Regarding the funds, the big reassurance offered so far to all depositors is that an amount equal to funds held is ring-fenced in a seperate account in terms of FSA regs. The FSA on the Isle of Man is no Mickey Mouse outfit and will be keeping an eye on developments as well, I am sure.

On the positive side, a UK poster over at WOL today advised that he had asked for a bank transfer from his Neteller account to his (presumably British) bank and that it had been handled quickly and with efficiency, so funds within Neteller accounts seem to be available for withdrawal.

That's unless you're in the USA, Canada or Turkey of course!

That's it, I'm signing up with Click2Pay just because they have a debit card. I just don't understand why Neteller does everything with immediate effect, FFS

Hi

I am quite new neteller user but seems I should switch to using some other method because of these problems. I probably should look into moneybookers option.

Payspark and Click2Pay debit cards are pretty much the same because they are operated by the same company Credit Card Services Company SAL based in Lebanon

Money Trade

Hey, anyone willing to trade $200 Neteller for $200 Click2Pay. I'm trying to move my BR to click2pay because of the Neteller attitude towards it's customers.

This can be dangerous, as has been shown when US players tried similar methods to get trapped funds out of Neteller.
The best method is to find a casino that will pay by cheque (or click2pay) from a Neteller deposit. Currently, there are some Playtech casinos that can accept deposits by Neteller, but would rather not pay out with Neteller due to a problem THEY have with Neteller not allowing them to refund their merchant account. I am sure one of these (if you already play there) will be glad to withdraw to Click2Pay and get an extra $200 funded into their Merchant Neteller account. So long as you play the deposit through, there should not be a problem. Make sure it is not a rogue Playtech (not necessarily that easy).
