Nothing in my inbox, and Neteller is still advertising its debit card on their website:
Quote:
We are proud to now offer the NETELLER Card to our clients. The NETELLER Card can be used to instantly access the funds in your NETELLER account. With access to the CirrusTM and MaestroTM networks the NETELLER Card can be used worldwide at ATM machines and POS terminals.

If this is true, I doubt that it's a DoJ inspired move - more likely some difficulty with the third party Maestro-Cirrus network that NT uses.

That's small comfort to the users, who will no doubt now be subjected to delays and poor communications from NT as they try and get their @#it together.

I again emphasise that if this is true, I am appalled that they have arbitrarily and without any warning whatsoever stopped their users from operating their NT to NT Card privilege, and that there is no indication whatsoever on their site that this problem is happening, why and what they plan to do about it.

From a Customer Relations Management and even PR and marketing perspective this is truly unprofessional and very irritating.

'Meister, before heavy traffic builds on this topic would it not be an idea to merge this and the other Neteller thread at http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...er-locked.html ?

Well boo-f**king-hoo. It's true.

I just spoke with them over the phone and the card is no more. They said they are scrambling at the moment to update the website and to notify all customers. They found out about this yesterday.

All funds in the card will be transferred back over to the ewallet section. They aren't sure how long this will take after the 2nd. Could be hours; could be days.

The card was the only reason I had a Neteller account. Well there goes my Vegas "fun money". Damn.

They did that same thing to my account a few days before they stopped accepting Canadians. I figured there was no use phoning since i wasn't going to use them anymore and did nothing wrong. I have used the same computer from home only, so using another computer or anything like that from somewhere else couldn't have been the reason for locking my account.

They didn't stop accepting Canadians completely, just on gambling transactions....
