    Smile Sign-up bonus jokes!

Over the last couple of weeks I've been visiting all the casinos on my site re-checking all the S.U.B. T&C's (so you don't have to ) which is incredibly tedious, boring & dull...

But my grueling task was lightened somewhat by these gems I found:-
(Not sure when they changed, but in the last 6-months)

    Sands & Omni:
Was: Deposit $100, get $100 bonus. WR Bx30 or Bx60 if BJ etc. played.
Now: No specific deposit, wager $8,000 (double for BJ) & get $100...
This = WR Bx80 or Bx160 if BJ etc. played.

Mini Vegas Group. e.g. Grand Hotel:
Was: 100% to $100. WR (Dx1)+(Bx5), but bank must be > D+B+B to withdraw.
So on a $100 deposit players only had to wager $600, but get bank above $300 to cash in. This is not easy!
Now: 100% to $100. WR (Dx1)+(Bx50), but bank must be > D+B+B+B to withdraw.
So on a $100 deposit players have to wager $5,100 & get bank above $400 to cash in...

That wagering is 8.5 times more than before, and makes it one of the worst deals I've ever seen!

    DaVinchi's Gold:
The following do not count towards WR: Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Single Videopoker, Videopoker, Craps.
The following games (and all variants) count partially for your wagering requirements: Sicbo (1/3) RedDog (1/3) Keno (1/3) PaiGow (1/3) Slots (1/3) ThreeCard (1/3) LetItRide (1/3) DoubleUp (1/3) CaribStud (1/3) BonusRound (1/3) ScratchCard (1/3)

Firstly, what the hell are 'DoubleUp' & 'BonusRound'?
Secondly, what games are actually left which count at 100%...
well, I can only see two: War & Sudoku - but I guess Sudoku is classed as a slot...?

So the only game which counts 100% in wagering is War - a game with a house edge of 2.06-2.34% = much lower than Roulette, Keno, Slots, Red Dog, etc, etc...

Nice to have a good laugh when you're working

On a much more serious note:-
Intercasino have from this month increased the monthly WR's as follows:-

Most games, excluding BJ & '21' games: From Bx18 to Bx25
Most games, including BJ & '21' games: From Bx30 to Bx50!

I'm just glad I'm not a 'blackjack player'...

I can definitely appreciate getting information that I don't spend hours digging up. Fact is, most people wouldn't dig in, and end up getting pissed or burned, or both.

Your findings underscore the fact that Bonuses are dying, which might not be a bad thing. Maybe they will start actually rewarding the REPEAT customers?

I agree 100% that no patterns exist in roulette. Therefore, when they appear, we will call
them a COMMON VIRTUAL LIMIT, and prepare to make a wager! - Sentinel/Fender1000

Sign up bonuses have gone from enticing to insulting
    Sands & Omni:
Was: Deposit $100, get $100 bonus. WR Bx30 or Bx60 if BJ etc. played.
Now: No specific deposit, wager $8,000 (double for BJ) & get $100...
This = WR Bx80 or Bx160 if BJ etc. played.
Or... casinos could just give new players a free play account and tell them to wager $1000 in free play on any game and then come deposit if they like the games.

DaVinci's 'no Slots' really has me confused... are they differentiating the 3 reelers from the Vid Slots? Cocoa Rob needs to clarify this.
Alice: But I don't want to go among mad people.
The Cat: Oh, you can't help that. We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.

KKs post is only one side of the story. Over the past couple months, the number of positive and negative sign-up bonus changes have been about the same. For example, some of the positive recent changes are listed below. I keep a list of recent updates on the links in my signature .

-VC Casino has improved their sign-up bonus. It is now a choice of $500 (£250) with 20xB wagering or $100 (£50) with 10xB wagering

-Wild Jacks has improved their sign-up bonus their signup to a 500% clearplay up to $125.

-River Belle has introduced a unique 400% Clearplay up to $200 (see summary, not listed on RB website)...

-The new Cryptologic Playboy Casino has been added (#23). The sign-up bonus is $100 with 30xB blackjack wagering (Intercasino's old bonus)

-Winward increased their sign-up from $250 to $1000, wagering was decreased from 30xB to 24xB, and blackjack was removed from the disallowed games list (see warning)

-Club Dice and Carnival Casino have improved their sign-up bonus. Club Dice offers a 167% sticky bonus up to $500 with 19xB blackjack wagering. Carnival offers a 100% sticky bonus up to $200 with 24xB wagering (see summary and warning)

-The Vegas Partner Group and Golden Riviera groups have introduced many new free plays with up to $1000 free play cash and $200 bonus winnings.

-Centrebet has increased their sign-up bonus from $100 to $200. Wagering is 25xB on 3 Card Poker...

-Casino For Me's April 9-13 reload has been added. A £100 or €150 bonus is awarded to players who complete the 30xB wagering on baccarat...

-Blackjack Heaven's new $100 40xB reload has been added. It is offered on the 3rd Thursday of each month.

    Yes that's true.
I wasn't trying to cast 'doom & gloom' - I just found those 'offers' totally laughable!

As AKA says, there are many IMPROVED offers as well - just got to know where to look for the info...

PS: Thanks for the great news about Playboy!

    Hello,

I contacted the operator at Da Vinci Gold as this appeared to be a mistake. Indeed it was. The promotion terms have been changed so that slots now count fully for wagering.

    Thanks!
I had assumed it was just a stupid mistake.
Don't worry, we all make them - I deposited $200 to play slots at an RTG last month...
