    casino traffiic?

this may have been asked many times before but here it is. i am playing 2 mg casinos regularly and i went to look at the big winners at each casino.(not counting progessives) i was shocked to see the largest winner was around five grand and i was included in that list with a win of around 2 grand. the other casino did not have a list of big winners. i thought that both of these were fairly heavily played casinos but where is the money? are there no heavy betters at these casinos or is there just nothing being paid out. when i go to a place like intercasino (which i cant play at) i see huge payouts all the time. is there a way to find out the amount of traffic at a particular casino? if there is no money going in there wont be much going out. this has me really wondering why even play. if five grand is the largest amount won in a seven day period then the paltry payouts would preclude anyone from betting more than a buck a spin and expect any kind of return at all. that is if you are a frequent gambler. make sense?

Well.. I dunno what to tell you, I don't know much, but I've noticed that some casinos show winners from around $1500 up, but not much more than $10000

I think it just depends on the day or time or something. Sorry I can't be much of a help, but I do know where your coming from.

    Lightbulb MICROGAMING JACKPOTMADNESS SITE GONE

Before they changed the jackpot site I use to look at the list of winners and casinos they won at for each game, each month.

They did away with that unfortunately.

I always found it strange that certain casinos seemed to have more Jackpot winners on a regular basis.

So if it is purely random, that doesn't make sence

I am talking over a two year basis not just in a month.

And I bet those casinos had a larger customer base, as well as more loyal players than the others.. IE: A steady stream of regulars playing often = more jackpots hit.

    Lightbulb THANKS FOR AGREEING PARTIALLY

You are agreeing that certain casinos have more jackpot winners? But you are saying that is because they have more players?

The point is if it totally random, and you have just as much chance of winning the jackpot at BlowJoe casino, the statement above should not be true. The number of players at a given casino should have no bearing on your chance of the RNG sending you the winning spin.

Clearly, my analysis told me that my chance was greater at Riverbelle, Lucky Nugget, 7 sultans, Piggs Peak, the gaming club and all slots. AT LEAST DURING THE TIME THE INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE.

At the time these casinos had a very high percentage of winners. Also, certain casinos won more on certain games. So there were certain games you had a better chance of winning at the casinos I listed above. Of course playing at these casinos didn't increase your chance of being the player that won at the that casino. Just meant the chance of someone playing there would win.

I would be playing at these casino on a certain prog. slot when the pop-up would appear "someone has just won......" I just was never the player the RNG sent the winning spin to. Many times I would write this down and check the micro jackpot website a few days later to see if it was the casino I was playing at the time there was a winner, about 50% of the time it was, but hard to determine sometimes because there were often two winners on the same day for same jackpot.

It's pure logic....more players playing more often = more spins = more chances to hit a jackpot. How would that not be random?

Lightbulb I SEE WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM BUT...

I am not a statistician, but random should mean random. If a players chance is greater at certain casinos then I just don't think it can be random. The number of spins at a certain casinos should not be the factor. Progressives would be based on spins from all players on a certain game. Whether a casino has one player playing the slot and another has 20,000 players playing the same slot, that one player should have the same odds of getting the winning spin if it is truly random.

That is what is logical to me.

P.s. I suck at math, so I could be totally off the wall

I may have misunderstood, but I agree with Winbig and I think you misunderstood somehow Footdr.

As he said, more players = More spins = more likely to be won at a particular casino because of the playing frequency.

Well in truth, Payout could be altered couldn't it? I mean if a casino has less players, they could alter how it pays to either draw more in or screw over their current players little by little.

I do see where your going with it though because I do tend to have different luck and payouts at different casinos of the same software.

Lightbulb PROGRESSIVE ARE SPREAD OVER THE ENTIRE GROUP OF MICRO CASINOS

I agree, as I stated progressives , ARE spread out over the entire micro group.

That is why it should not make any difference which casino you are playing. The traffic at any given casino, frequency or what ever should have no bearing on which casino the jackpot is won at because if it is totally random the number of spins has nothing to do with it nor the number of players or whether you are playing download or flash, or anything else

To be random the chance of getting the winning spin should not be influenced by anything or any variable. IT IS JUST RANDOM

The fact certain casinos have more winners is probably just pure luck, I just find it odd that the RNG seems to send the winning spin to those casinos more frequently. So, knowing that, I always figurered I had a better chance of winning at those casinos. Even though another casino might have a winner a couple of times a year.

Yep - totally off the wall!

In your scenario above, the big jackpot is 20,000 x more likely to be hit at a casino with 20,000 regular players, compared to a casino with just one player.
    That's simple logic.
Each player does have the same chance of hitting the big win, but if there are 19,999 more players at casino 'A'...
    Smile, it may never happen...
