What are the alternatives to MG slots?

Hi all, new poster...so don't bite!

Have been playing MG slots for some time and am a sucker for the free spins, features etc. and overall 'feel'. Agree that the more recent slots are getting a touch boring and samey. Thunderstruck, tomb raider, Isis etc. are still giving me reasonable returns and can be fun...re-triggers are a must as well!

I read a lot on here about other software. Don't know who makes Cleaopatra, 50,000 Pyramid etc. but find the games sooooooo slow with payouts seemingly lower than MG. Have also tried Dr Lovemore and a few others from that manufacturer - not bad. Are there any others that are worth a go?

BTW (and I appreciate this is sad), I have calculated that Thunderstruck / Spring Break / Ladies Nite etc. gives me free spins every 163 spins on average (based on 100 features). Highest amount of spins without feature 1001 but very rarely goes over 400.

    That's all!

The average for the Free Spins on Tstruck etc is about 1 in 135 we calculated a while ago over a large sample. Like you I started to find MG slots a tad boring, so I've been playing more at RTG. Their Real Series slots are very entertaining, but a tad confusing so I wrote up my findings on the best ones to get started on here.

Cleo and 50,000 Pyramid I play at Virgin or Blue Square. Love 'em but they play fast and can get through your bankroll quick. The RTG ones play a lot slower and I play at iNetBet and Club World - Bodog is another option. Well worth a shot

Dr Lovemore is Playtech - pretty good and Desert Treasure is probably the best one on that platform.

Still reckon Thunderstruck is the best slot ever though

I concur with Simmo - if you tire of MG slots, try RTG's - they're pretty decent. But problematic since many of the RTG sites are still roguish. I would only play at the ones listed here, or Bodog, or VIP - others I would avoid.

Don't forget Intercasino's - the Nextgen slots (Zombies, etc.) are brilliant.

I recommend Paddypower casino for 50.000 pyramid because
at the second highest step (where there are 2 choices)
    They are at paddypower:
    6 free spin
    +6 multiplier

While at virgin/blue SQ they are
    6 free spin
    6 free spin

It is much better to play the paddypower version.

Correct me if I am wrong or it has changed. I was quite surprised over this finding since it really matters if you end on

    10freespins*6multiplier or
    16 freespins.
(just a typical example of where you have 10 freespins*1 multiplier before picking at second highest level)

You're half wrong... The difference is on row 3.
But you've highlighted something VERY interesting!!!

PP rules says "Win up to 40 spins at up to x10", and last night:-

Virgin & Blue Sq do not state anywhere that I can see in the rules, max many spins & multiplier.
All I can see is the rotating banner in the game itself which says "Win up to 40 spins"
But I can't find any shots where the 3rd level multiplier is other than 3 - so it looks like Virgin & BlSq's max is x7!!

    So you are half right.
Are Paddy Power being over generous, or are the other casinos 'ripping you off' *

*Disclaimer: It's possible the multiplier varies from feature to feature, and I just haven't shot any with x6 in.

Ahh, please give me 75% right at least

But as you certainly can see my point is 100% valid.

It makes me a little sad since this ruins the WagerWorks brand just like with RTG. You never know what slot you are playing...

Wow! Now that is an eye opener!!!! Thanks chaps. Out of inteerst, what does Paddy Power say in the % payout information in the "Rules" page? At Virgin/BlueSq it says 95.02.

What is most interesting about this is that it's obvious Wagerworks games can be erm, "optimised", by casino, which I am very surprised at considering how strict Alderney is on licensing. So it raises the obvious questions, which other games are/can be different. We're in RTG territory which means that you have to examine the returns at each casino. I love that from a competitive angle, but it means some work!

The major difference between WW and RTG is that WW publishes the payout %, under Alderney licensing regs, while RTG hides it. So in theory, this should be beneficial to the player and, as I mention above, for the first time we actually have the chance for casinos on the same s/ware to compete on odds - openly. Nice.

Paddy Power says 95.01%! 0.01% lower!

Just a reminder that we haven't ruled out the possibility that sometimes the 3rd row multiplier at PP might be x3, and x6 at Virgin - I just don't have a record of those events.
It's something I never paid much attention to before, but you can bet I will now.
Oh well, I suppose I'll just have to go and play loads of it now... shame!
