I'm assuming they're still fine for non-usa players.

But, they really screwed the USA players by cancelling out winnings because they couldn't finish the WR, etc. once they closed all USA accounts.

    They are all good.

Windows Casino has new owners and very improved customer relations. Windows Casino is no longer on the CM rogue list.

As long as your outside the US your good to go with these guys.

Only one report of that and it has not been verified.

I'm the person to whom it happened. I'm verifying it. If it happens once it's OK but if it happens multiple times it isn't? I wouldn't play at a group that confiscates winnings at a whim.

Being verified means confirmation from someone besides you.

Why blame the Casinos for what the US Government has done?

Don’t you think for a second that most of these casinos including the Wager Junction casinos would LOVE to have you at their casino to finish grinding out your bonus? You bet they would.

But the choice has been taken out of their hands by the US Dept of Justice.
The guys at WJ hung in there for a long time, one of the few places that had the guts too.

In a sense they did. They weren't allowing any NEW signups from those in the USA. Why all of a sudden did they get scared and close the rest of the USA accounts? Cash flow problems maybe? Quite an easy way to confiscate quite a bit of cash...

Greg, speak up! Prove us wrong.

    Wrong

There was nothing wrong in exiting the market in the end, but it is morally wrong to confiscate winnings as though it was the PLAYER'S fault that all this happened. US players are asked to accept it's not the casino's fault, but the casino must, in return, accept that breaches of terms as a consequence of them pulling out with NO NOTICE are not the player's fault. They may have a problem paying out, but confiscation of any winnings is not the way to impress the rest of us, whose continuing custom will determine whether the industry survives to "tick over" while all this runs it's course, or whether it dies an agonising death with too few players prepared to trust them to do the right thing if things turn bad with respect to non-US accounts.

I hope Greg will respond once ICE is over and the full compliment of staff are back in the office. Monday would be a good time to expect an initial response, earlier if at all possible. Bryan has most likely been raising these issues at ICE, and we should expect an ICE report newsletter & webcast in the next couple of weeks.

US players might be conforted to know that Bush's lapdog, the Blair government, has been growling and gnashing it's teeth over Iraq - more seriously this time, but beneath the headlines there has been expressions of disappointment about the actions of the DoJ while the UK government is attempting to put a regulatory regime in place for remote gaming by September.

That is wholly incorrect. The statute only concerns payment processors. It has nothing to do with either the player or the casino. Wager Junction made the decision to pull out. The U.S. Department of Justice did not make it for them. Of course I blame the casino. It was their move.

    Yes they were.
The WJ casinos were split, some (Windows, Goldkey and Oasis) took US players until just the other day, others like Gesia, Grand Aces and Hampton stopped taking US players several months ago.

The statute only concerns payment processors.
Ya tell that to the US DOJ... Maybe Alberto and his henchmen will realize their error and allow all the online casinos back into the US...

Right, why bother considering the reality when we can just make generalizations based on incorrect information? Sure. I'm with you on this one.
