Casinos Trying to get you to Reverse Withdrawals

I vaguely remember at one point in the not too distant past Bryan asking for info on casinos who try to tempt you to reverse your withdrawal during its' pending phase. I may be wrong but even so, still morally reprehensible to try to tempt you back in once you've actually bothered to make a withdrawal!

While they are on of my favoured casinos, Platinum Play (& probably the rest of Fortune Lounge) practise this.

    Copy of email received after recent withdrawal;

    Your Platinum Play Withdrawal

    Date: 17 Dec 2006 07:32:52 +0200

    Dear

Your withdrawal request on PPxxxxxxxx has been received. But, the
genie of fortune is granting you a further wish… How does $2,000 sound?
    Good?

    WHAT'S UP FOR GRABS?

NB: Please note, depending on the stage of the withdrawal process, it
could take up to an hour for your winnings to be deposited back into
    your casino account.

    Ouch.

Absolutely uncalled for. I don't think enticing winners to reverse their withdrawals is a good policy - although they do say later in the email that they will pay quickly should you decide not to reverse.

But what caught my attention the most is this...

    Transaction Amount Date/Time

    3xxxxxx £1,246,982.52

Did you like hit King Cashalot or something???

Yes, these tricks are really low. I wonder what the probability is to win the 2000$

As if this isn't enough, reversing your cash in will allow you to enjoy
the benefits of continued play without the need to repurchase!

O thank you thank you thank you fortune lounge. Many are the nights when I have laid awake at night thinking of the horrors of having to make a repurchase in order to enjoy the benefits of continued play.

Wow, I didn't see this first.

It makes the 2000$ prize for reversing really measly.

emm, while I was disguising account details changed the actual amount withdrawn at same time!

You think I'd be posting about them asking to reverse withdrawal!!!

Figure was in hundreds and represented a nice wee return on initial deposit!!!

I agree with Spear. While its ultimately up to the casino to decide what they offer their customers, if they are anything like me, reversing and losing is the worst of all feelings. Far worse than just losing. This is why Reverse Withdrawal is such a "hobby-horse" [quoted!] of mine.

My recommendation if the Reverse Withdrawal is your nemesis, do what I did: uninstall and move on to an MG who will reduce it (32Red and probably Trident if you ask) or a Crypto/Wagerworks casino who don't have Reverse periods - period

I don't think I'd want to withdraw at all if I'm going to get peed on...
