    Sorry CM for not posting this in the appropriate thread but in my eyes it deserves a thread on this own

    Ok got this "decent" hand and I was quite pleased for it but I kinda felt that I want the dealer to qualify so that I can have the raise bet paid 20 to 1.

    I don't think it matters what hand you have. Had dealer qualifed against a good hand on several occasions.

    It doesn't matter for the progressive payout, but you only get paid on the 'back' bet if the dealer qualifies. I've seen a guy get a straight flush with no progressive bet and he wound up winning a grand total of $5! because the dealer couldn't muster up an AK or better.
