    Hello I am new

Hey!!! Thank you for the forum. I was thinking about trying a site. After reading some post I am worried.

My question: How to send money? Will I get into to trouble if I use my wells fargo visa card? I don't need any legal problems. The site terms will not allow prepaid cards or checks.

    Thank you

If you are referring to your debit card I use mine all the time. It is a Wells Fargo card too. So far the feds haven't come for me.

I had a Wells Fargo card once, and I remember that the T&C were changed to prohibit the use of the card for online gambling. This was sometime in the late 90's if I remember correctly. I am surprised that they still process gambling transactions.

    Thank you for the discussion.

I was not only thinking about the feds but my Bank.

Will my Bank stop or put a hold on my account?

Another question: Do you leave your money at the casino after a session?

Another question: I know it varies from casino to casino, but can you give some estimates on transaction fees?

    1. What do you pay for the international deposit?
    2. What do you pay for a cash-in via bank card?
    3. What do you pay for a cash-in check in postage and assorted fees?

    Another question: Estimates on time?

    1. How long is processing time on the deposit?
    2. How long on the cash-in time?

Another question: Do the real money games play like the demos or is it just a bait?

Another question: I was looking at the golden reef casino. It is on the favored list. Do you think it is a good place to start? I like the craps game. I can play for a dollar, they pay to the penny, after a number is rolled the bet comes down. It is easier than a real casino. The crew never likes to take down bets. I never know if its on or off.

Thank you. I had another silly question, but I forgot it already. <damn>

I am assuming you are a US player so my answers are with that assumption in mind. If you are depositing within the casino software I have not been charged any fees by Wells Fargo using my debit card. If you are using a debit card they will not accept a cash-in. You will have to use another entity such as Neteller, Click2Pay, or InstaDebit. Neteller being the one most accepted.

As far as holds on your bank account that I can't speak to except my checking account has never been bothered. You may leave money in your casino account after a session. I think that is a personal preference. I normally don't have any left or I have cashed it in.

When depositing within the casino software the deposit is immediate. The cash-in (withdrawal time varies). If you are using your debit card the casino will more than likely require a copy of the front and back of your debit card, a photo ID and in some instances a copy of a utility bill with your name on it to verify your address. If you aren't the primary name on the utility bills in your household you might use something else that is in your name. I used my checking account.

As far as fun play is concerned it is my opinion the outcome is far more rosey when not playing for REAL.

I addressed only those I felt I could answer. Good luck and have fun!

    Hope you withdraw a bundle!

Welcome to the forum What a lot of questions!

I can't answer the banking ones - hopefully someone your side of the pond can.

Yes, I always leave my money in the casino - until the WR is done.

Deposits are instant - withdrawals take 1-3 days at good casinos.

At Microgaming the fun play seems the same as real to me.

If you do sign up at Golden Reef to play craps I think you will get an automatic 100% bonus on your deposit. You will not be able to withdraw anything until you complete the Wagering Requirements (same with all MG's) - and Craps only counts at 10%.
So if you got a $100 bonus for example, you would have to wager $100 x 50 x 10% = $50,000 (if playing craps only) before you can withdraw!

Let us know how you get on. Good luck!

Just an FYI, "Microgaming" is a casino software provider and a lot of the better casinos use their software.

Actually, you can withdraw before completing wagering at most MGs offering Clearplay bonuses. Golden Reef and the rest of the Casino Profit Share group is the exception. I'd recommend staying away from this group.

My favorite MG group at the moment is Belle Rock (Lucky Nugget, River Belle, Gaming Club, Jackpot City, and some others not generally available). They do not require playthrough, have better game weighting than most other groups, and do not credit bonuses unless you fill out a claim fom. Withdrawals are faster than most of the other groups, and I generally have fewer problems with them than others.

For payment, I'd recommend either Neteller or Click2Pay. Most US banks will not allow transactions to casinos on credit/debit cards.

Thank you for the advice. More is always welcome. I like to know what to expect before I try something new.

This comment caught my eye: You will not be able to withdraw anything until you complete the Wagering Requirements (same with all MG's) - and Craps only counts at 10%.

I can't withdraw my money or winnings? or just the bonus money and winnings? You are saying that they join my deposit with bonus money and then I have to bet 50,000 before I can have my money back? I have a real problem with the bonus money. That may be the deal breaker.

This comment caught my eye: For payment, I'd recommend either Neteller or Click2Pay.

People seem to like Neteller. Is there a popular consensus that this is way to play?

This comment caught my eye: Golden Reef and the rest of the Casino Proft Share group is the excetion. I'd recommend staying away from this group

This is because of the joining of bonus and deposit money, and the 50 x play through?

This comment caught my eye: My favorite MG group at the moment is Belle Rock

How many other gamers like Belle? Or care to share a favorite place.

Thank you for all the insights. I love the net and forums. A person can learn so much!!

If you claim a bonus, you must complete playthrough before making any withdrawals with the Casino Profit Share group, Grand Monaco (this might have changed since acquired by CasinoShare recently), and the Fortune Lounge group. The problem with Casino Profit Share group is bonuses with the larger than normal required playthrough are credited automatically. You'd need to contact support to forfeit the bonus or face withdrawal complications. There are other possible issues that I won't go into here.

You can withdraw winnings without completing playthorugh at other groups offering Clearplay bonuses. This includes Belle Rock group, Trident group, Casino Rewards group, Grand Prive group, Villento, JAckpot Factory goup, CasinoShare, and Vegas Partner (probably). Most of these have a claim form on the bonus, so it will not appear unexpectedly.
