I've reloaded a number of times and cant see any homepage alterations of banner alterations though that banner is weird being on his server. But then he does like the odd joke every now and again as we know

These "advertisements" are most likely only visible to U.S. visitors, whereas visitors from civilized countries can see the normal advertisements. It's similar to what I did on my site, but I like Bryan's spin on things a little better!

This is phase one of dealing with "not advertising to US players". This is just a quick fix. Real banners will be appearing for real sites that US players can utilize in the very near future. I just didn't want it to look too naked.

In a nut shell, if you are in the US - you have an ad free site. What a deal.
