Where do you high-rollers get your gambling money?

I've been wondering for a long time now, so decided to ask!

Where do you guys like Slotster, Simmo, Robwin, Mitch, Bing, Metaxa, Mr.Van, etc.. get your gambling money from?

Please only vote in the poll if you ARE a high-roller - not just if you aspire to be one (like I do! )

High-roller = regularly play cards > 50 credits/hand, Slots > 2.50/spin etc...
Smile, it may never happen...

Hmm I'm a bit of an anomaly here. I am not what I would term a high-roller. For one, I play in $ so that effectively looks higher. Secondly, I tend to play quick and big. IE: If i have $200 I play 10 spins at $6.75 then maybe 10 at $9 and if i win 10 at $11.25. Like today I hit 5 hammers with kicker at $9 so I played it out at $11.25 or $13.50. But I wouldn't have if I hadn't won. I spent the last week in my few sessions playing at $2.70 or $3.60 max.

So my sessions are generally short unless I win. Thats why you rarely see sereenshots from me but when you do they are generally big (or lucky like that Keno one which was off a £2 bet).

I probably only play on 5 or 6 days a month as a result. Although as an affiliate I tend to use any income from that as my gambling money or sometimes casinos give me a lump to use to write up reviews etc. Not generally big - sort of bonus size. I've been self employed for the past 10 years or so in other fields.

My situation is very similar to Simmo's. I am a very small time affiliate which bankrolls my play, and also deposit a couple times per month (only Microgaming casinos). I only raise my bets for short periods of time (and count the spins).

Though my official answer is I have been using Monopoly money since the very beginning

easy -

I wait for my husband to pass out after his weekly dart league binge at the local watering hole and then I do his laundry. What I find in his pockets is finders keepers. I've tried my darndest to get him out of the house more often but he refuses.

Money

I tend to move money around alot, and take most of the good promotions.
My large bets tend to follow a big cashin from a previous session.
My slot bets are normally at the lower end of the high rolling scale, with occasional burst to double figures (£10+ per spin). Mostly, it is around £2 to £5 per spin, but less if I am playing in a wager tournament, where I now change stake, coin, and coins per line regularly through play (in a vain hope of confusing the slot not to die on me )

My usual VP bet is £20 to £62.5 per hand, the higher reserved for the 50 Hand games. Occasinonally, I have gone all the way at £125 per hand in the multi-hand games, and this has paid off on many occasions, such as pat AAAA on £125 Aces and Faces, and a few 4 to a RF on £125 hands, one netting 5xRF for over £10,000
This leads to a short spell of trying a few big spins on slots, but I have to be careful!
My biggest bets ever have been on 3-Card Poker, at up to £300 per hand, however this was due to getting a really good streak when first trying the game, and I know better than to do this now!!

I wouldn't classify 2.50 as high rolling!

IMO, high rolling is anything from 10.00 or above.

Low rolling is anything under 1.00. Anything else is pretty much standard.

Personally, I find my funds from borrowing, stealing and mugging. Oh, and my mum - God bless her.

Nah, not really. I get commission from my work, so the harder I work the harder I play!!!

I don't think I'm a high roller either! Only ever upping the bets to the £9 and above mark when I'm on a roll! Very much generally around the £4.50 mark on a regular basis.

Although I suppose that's more in dollars, and I only ever play at Roxy Palace in dollars - the rest GBP.

I'm rubbish at gambling so it's certainly not self funding... Similar to Cheeky, the harder I work - the harder I play

Although I earn bucks from affiliate accounts, that's not a huge amount. All my funds come from my other main business web development & throw offs from that.

My monthly income fluctuates, as a rule I tend to set aside 25% of my main business monthly income for gambling. Most of my affiliate money goes towards gambling also, but I consider that as my pin money anyway.

I'm not a high-roller by any means, though if I'm winning & winning welll , I've upped my slot bets to $22.50 a spin, but most times I sit @ $2.25 - $4.50 a spin.

Cheers

hundreds of thousands, maybe more, played over the years mostly at b&m casinos. not a big spender online. made enough as an athlete to have plenty of throw away money. family first, then charity, then piss away plenty has always been my motto.
