Angry RTG reducing their slots payouts?

It has been revealed in another thread (Fruit Frenzy gone from iNetBet) that in a recent 'upgrade' the programming got changed so that players NEVER got the extra free-spins in the bonus round.

Now Fruit Frenzy has been around for many many years, so one has to ask the question why were they tweaking it? (I can't imagine adding or upgrading any other games could effect this game 'by accident')

One possible answer is they were adjusting the % of successful extra spins in the feature and that the programmer cocked-up and effectively set it to 0%!
This error was soon obvious, but would players notice if all the other Real Series slots have had their percentages reduced? I doubt it.

Many players (including me) have commented on how their luck on the RS slots has plummeted - so am I being paranoid or does anyone else agree that it looks like a deliberate act by RTG?
Snow's over - back to work - nothing to see here...

How would this benefit RTG? Unless of course the operators pressured them to make these changes...
Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...

You know, I was actually considering posting a thread about this. I have pumped a lot of money into these slots the past few days, and NOTHING. NADA. Not one bonus round.

I was going to ask if the slots have been tightened, and I mean considerably!

You can only speculate why RTG decided to change some mechanics involving payout% for existing slots.

Conspiracy minded people could argue that RTG wanted to change the payout% limits for their slots (downward of course), since this new change resulted in an all time
low payout%. Or maybe it was a human payout% configuration error, which at least showed us how tight RTG slots can be set.

Recently there been an increasing competition between RTG casinos by offering higher and higher slot deposit bonuses. To compensate for these bonuses I believe
the casinos set the slot to a lower payout%. 1 year ago I found the RTG slots much more loose (MG standard) and several other members here has posted the
same observation. Now the bonus race resulted in setting the payout% even lower, and maybe something not intended happened here so it was set too tight.

That new Achilles-slot must be the biggest joke ever. Played 2000 spin last night on Inetbet and didnt get three Achilles ONCE. Got three Troys once -outcome: 7.50 dollars (on a one-dollar-bet)

Are many of the new RTG-slots fun? Yes. Do they have interesting bonus-rounds? Yes. Do the bonus-rounds ever appear? Nope.

Have played RTG for years, but the slots do only seem to get tighter and tighter. If the bonus-rounds appear aprx every 132th spin at Thunderstruck/Ladies/Tally/SpringBreak (didnt someone come up with that number?) at MG, it must be aprx 250-300th spin at RTG.

Same here, I have pumped a couple grand into the RS slots in the last month and never seem to ever even get much over the amount of the deposit in any play session. I really like some of the games, including fruit frenzy, but when you can only barely get ahead at any given time, then it sucks it all back, it really discourages me from any hope of a decent win on these slots. Too bad that all the RTGs seem to work this way, I think I'm going land based for awhile and observe the online world for now.

It would no doubt be due to pressure by the operators.

Here's another 'conspiracy theory' for you (as has been touched on in other threads), maybe with the impending possibility of online gambling being banned in the US, some of the operators are trying to grab what they can before they lose this major source of income....

I really do think it is a 'per operator' thing. I stupidly played $300 at iNetBet and not ONCE did I get over my bank roll, and barely got any bonus rounds to boot, pretty amazing with that kind of bankroll. Not ONCE! BUT I played at 49ers and made a tidy profit getting the features regularily, cleared my bonus without problem and withdrew about $2000 in total. All in the same month as my deposits at iNetBet. Something VERY fishy there.
I will say thought hat Fruit Frenzey was also hooped at 49ers so I just did not play it anymore. So I fully believe it was RTG that messed that game up, not the operators.

    I am an RTG junkie

and I definitely believe they have tightened up the Real Series slots. For example: Ceasars Empire. Just lately in the bonus round the coins are now giving 1 free spin each. They used to give up to 5 free spins each. I have seen this in every bonus round I have played. Now it is no better than the Aztec game with their stingy 1 free spin per voodoo doll. (or whatever that thing is). That game used to give up to 5 free spins per symbol too before they changed it. The whole thing started going downhill when the new games were being released faster than a picker on speed. I have been saying this for awhile now but thought that it might be just a streak of bad luck. I have come to believe as of late that it is not bad luck but rather low payout percentages.
I am so disgusted over the whole Fruit Frenzy screw-up that I may never play that game again. I didn't like the explanation that was posted by one of the RTG casinos here for the disappearance of the random JP in Fruit Frenzy or why there was no mention of the big winner or why the game was completely GONE! Why should any player have to wait for a news letter to find out? The players build those jackpots. The players have a right to know don't they? (or am I completely off base here?)
Yeah yeah I know-- it's gambling after all. But fair gambling is all I ever ask for. Fair gambling is something I expect when I open my wallet. When it feels like it is no longer a fair fight then it's time to move on or quit altogether.

I've wondered why the minimum bet changes.

I'm playing low value pulls $0.20 then when I restart the lowest I can play is $1.

I've hit the 3- achilles bonus several times but i've never gotten more than 15 spins. 20 and 25 are supposed to be options.

    Penguin power - I've gotten 25 spins once. I always get 10.
