Hey all! I have only been a member since April so I don't know if this has already been discussed. I find the forum members names (handles so to speak) very interesting. So, I would like to know what does your screen name mean? Obviously, some are self explanatory such as mine. Others I can't figure out. As for me. I love Atlantic City and my favorite casino is Ballys. How about yours?

Mine's pretty much a given - Casinomeister - that's me. :D

But in the Prima Network I'm known as beetleB. I spent 11 years in the army, and most everyone - including some of my commanders called me "Beetle" (ref. Beetle Bailey).
 
I got my dog when I was in Spain quite a while back. In Spain Peralis is quite a common surname and we found that most police officers were named that as well. So we thought it would be funny to name the dog "Kapitan Peralis" so that when we were walking him and we saw a police officer, we shouted Kapitan Peralis out very loudly. Most of the time, the police officer would look and ask what he could do for us and we would ignore him and run towards the dog.

Yes... we were young :D
 
Just a thought... This is an intersting thread for someone who wants to learn some really private info of the members of the forum that may use the same usernames in casinos... And someone with imagination could also guess some passwords of some members... Just a thought.... :what:

Life long fan of the (US) football team, the Green Bay Packers........who shamed us all with a horrific performance on Monday night. But loyal fan that I am, I'm keeping my name (for now, at least) :machinegu
 
What's in a name

A good friend and I were at a work seminar / conference together and he had to type in our first names. He incorrectly typed my name as "Darem" and it came up on the big screen at the conference and just stuck as a nickname from then on. I had to add the 1 to have 6 characters. And the picture? I just went from being one type of princess to another! I prefer fairy tales to this real, ugly world we live in. :)
 
Mine came from one of favorite past times, camping - I married a man who preferred hotel rooms to tents so if I wanted to teach my son what my father had taught me camping, I would have to do it myself. And I did. Ive taken out all my preschool mom buddies camping, most had never been before..we always brought the little ones with us, I taught them all how to chop wood, build a fire, pitch a tent, hook worms and clean fish.(age appropriate of course!) One little girl refused to touch anything yucky, she put her hands on her hips and said "Im just a frufrugirl, I only do GIRL things!". The moms all started calling me frufrugirl whenever they wanted me to do a yucky thing and it just stuck.

and the hotel man eventually had to get a hotel to live in!!

Naaa hes not on this site, he just used liquidsoap for his screen name on aol. And I couldnt think of anything and thought it was quite origanal so used it. Besides hes to young to be on this site :thumbsup: .

How he came about getting liquidsoap I dont know. :)

Much later when searching the web I discovered there is a german resturant
also called 'Zoozie'. It seems like a cheap place. Bummer. Maybe Meister knows what it is ? Anyway I had my name back in 1994, so think I was first and should sue them.

I find this site a great source of information and have been reading everyone's comments for a very long time and now decided to join so I could contribute my comments and experiances as well.

Okay, I'll spill. Pina was a nickname for one of my daughters ever since she was a baby, thus the pinababy. I was originally Pinababy39 (many years ago), that was my email addy as well. When my ex and I split up the first time, I was stupid enough to leave papers around with my passwords on, and he got control of my hotmail account. So I had to open a new one, and the number change was strictly to piss him off (use your collective imaginations). I even emailed him when I opened it asking if he liked the "new name". It had the desired effect. Ahhh, the stupid, silly and senseless things we do in a breakup, lol.

Interesting thread Ballysdb, nice to read some lighthearted stuff for a change.

I am the referee and thankfully not called to duty that often. :D The girls are mellow most of the time but the boys were a major pain until "nip/tuck" day at the vet. Now that mating season has generally gone ignored, things are quiet again. Except for the female stray (who must be confused) who likes to challenge the neutered former alpha male (35 lbs.). He is intimidated by this and has found a great hiding place on top of the kitchen cupboards.

I am waiting for the night when they make some room for me to sleep in my king size bed! (note to self: get a bigger bed)

His name is Cruiser. For some reason people always refer to him as "the beast." :confused: Cruiser sees himself as just a little baby kitty who likes to sit in my lap (ugh) and kneed my leg (ugh ugh). If the meathead will ever pose, I will grab a quick snap and post it up for all to see.

I know I could've been a little more creative with my name.. and wish I would have. I'll never forget when I was "Googling" something to research info for posting in this forum, I saw my name "Cynthia777" come up with quotes from the Casinomeister forum.

BUT... along with that were other items listing the handle Cynthia777.. one is in a Sex and Sexuality Support Forum talking about porn and relationships, then another one in a personals site, and then another demanding Clay Aiken :eek: !!

Trust me, if anyone ever sees that handle on the above or any other site.. it is NOT me!!

Bless your heart, I hope you win lots because I know what the food and litter costs, not to mention the vet bills! :eek: My cat isn't large, but my best friend has four cats, two of which would rival your 35 pounder probably. I loved the picture someone posted of the fat cat with the budweiser bottle!

Seems to me a lot of us lady gamblers have cats. I have 2. My Mainecoon is only about 20 lbs but quite a big boy. I have also worried about being the "old lady with the cats" I remember when I was a very young child whispering about the cat lady down the street , we were all afraid of her. I'll never have more than 2 at a time because of that. :D

I am sure his self-image is #4 (#2 is a female who has had several cubs). However, #1 is more like it except that Cruiser is black and white. And you'd swear that the beast's gut is closer to #3 except bag the Bud Lite and bring on the Pale Ale!

Sorry, the 10% of my working brain can't remember where I put the digital camera:eek:
