Microgaming, however, I've had no luck at any of them lately.

Normally I would have said Microgaming, but I voted for Playtech. Despite my recent post in the Winner Screenshots thread of my 50-Hand JoB pat 4 of a kind at a Microgaming casino, I have had much better luck with Playtech's video poker than Microgaming's.

The problem you have here is that the Poll can't show how often a punter plays a particular type of software, so it will largely end up showing which software most people play I think, in which case it will probably be in this order:

    MG
    Crypto
    Playtech
    RTG
    Other
    Boss

You are assuming that forum members gain while playing. This is often not the case. I recall a previous poll that found posters were split between those who have made a gain overall and those who have made a loss overall.

I have played far more at RTG than Playtech, Boss, Parlay, Random Logic, and Instaplay; yet RTG is lower on my cumulative gain list. The SW that I have played the most are as follows:

    1. Microgaming
    2. Cryptologic
    3. Real Time Gaming
    4. Playtech
    5. Instaplay
    6. Random Logic
    7. Boss Media
    8. Parlay
    9. Independents
    10. Grand Virtual

My best results ever were at the old Stanley Bet and Acropolis casinos. Cant even remember what software it was but it was fair.

I prefer M/G to all software but Playtech has paid me the largest wins, mostly from let it ride poker.

    1)Playtech
    2)Microgaming
    3)RTG
    4)Crypto
    5)Proprietry (Lasseters)
    6)Boss

As for the rest I dont play them so I can tell you.

    Great subject for a poll!

Because I occasionally use bonuses , the software with the best monthly reloads on the net are way out front - Crypto!

Second would be MG, mainly because I very rarely play the other softwares listed.

    Cumulative loss

My records show an accumulative loss, although there have been large swings between the casinos. Had I never played at All Slots, I would be sitting on a modest gain, and had I not frequented Casino Action and beat the hell out of the scoreboard tournaments I would be sitting on quite a pile!

Sadly, it is not possible to tell in advance which casinos to play, and which to avoid, assuming all play fair. With some software brands, it does make a difference, but for most it is the quality of the promotions that makes the difference.
The only software that has given me small, but consistent, gains, is Cryptologic, but this is a result of their reload offers as much as the luck at the tables.
