As for the winners screenshots - that thread was started by players who like to share bitchin' looking screenshots.

"Screenshots that suck" (which many commentators seem to overlook) was started by me. It's a two way street y'know.

Gambling is entertainment - you pay to be entertained; just like in Vegas, simple as that.

Like anything that involves emotions and money, don't let it get the best of you, eh? But good luck. Hate to see you go being a little freaked out and everything. But if it's for the best - it's for the best.

Myself i just have an occasional £20 to £50 once every few weeks to un wind and chill out (preferebly with bonuses )

Now see... there ya go. I don't look in the winning shots thread everytime I come to the board. It's... sort of an afterthought ya know? I always check in here (online casinos) and the Complaints threads, and maybe the news one. I come to CM to stay up on news and potential problems so I can avoid problem casinos (hopefully) or get help here should a cashout go to shit... but... I just find it interesting that the winning screenshots thread seems to be so... well... compelling to some.

It is probably for the best.

I am sorry that you have obviously taken a big hit. This is almost inevitable however, if you are gambling for the buzz. This behaviour leads to larger and larger bets over time to keep generating the same effect.

If you could get your buzz from just knowing that you are a winner overall then you could gamble like KK. He knows that to win his bet size has to be in relation to the bonuses on offer. If he loses he will move to another casino to play another bonus. He will not chase losses at the casino that has taken him down.

The funny thing is is that you have recognised that this is the way to win but do not do it!

This approach takes a huge amount of willpower and you are right, casinos know that few players have the ability to do this.

You can still bet big on the internet but you need big bonuses to justify this approach.

You can not accuse this forum of encouraging people to gamble recklessly nearly all the regular posters paint a very realistic picture of your overall prospects when gambling.
