Too close for comfort

But...I never felt the result would be different doing it that way...I ended up as disappointed with the result as much as if I'd played them the night before. The real plus was that you'd always be up at least some in the first 10 minutes of the day

You are getting uncomfortably close to something Simmo!!!!
The new EZBonus bubble has thrown light onto this mystery though. In a round of 50-UP VP I found that the "bubble" updated the balance as soon as I clicked on "draw" and moved the mouse pointer over, however, this balance included the end result of the drawn 50 hands BEFORE the cards had been displayed!!!!!!
I tried this on the free spins slots, on slow play. As each spin went I moved the mouse to create a refreshed "bubble". Although the balance updated before the spin had completed, each of the free spins seemed to be evaluated separately, rather than all at once as in the 50 hand VP draw.
I believe that leaving the slots in free spins, and playing the spins later can change the result from what it would have been. Unfortunately, this may not make things better or worse, unless one believes in the "streak" theory for MG rather than each spin being completely random.
This can give a positive start to the day, but not if all those free spins give nothing
This is quite safe in all MG casinos, as the server keeps a robust record of the game in play. I am not so sure about RTG though, although I have not tried it. There is no way to prove whether this changes the overall chance of winning though.
I have my own thoughts though. If free spins hit while reel wins are simply not hitting, then it seems that the bonus round will also be crap. I also find that when reel wins are hitting well it seems impossible to get the required scatters to trigger free spins. This seems to suggest that the reels can interact with each other either constructively (many wins), or desynchronised (few wins and 15 to 20 spin famines). I cannot see how the RNG in MG casinos keeps hitting this sudden 20+ spin spell with not a single win, yet mostly hits repeatedly on the tiny wins (such as pair of 9's) during the majority of play. On 5 Reel Drive I have noticed that these long famines are when the 3 and 4 scatters tend to hit, usually mid-way. If this also happens on the free spin slots it is no wonder that the bonus rounds seem unexpectedly poor.
