    RNG in free spins?

A question for the slotexperts here:

If you hit respins - at any slot, RTG or microgaming...- and you feel that the payout might be poor , can it improve your luck to leave the slot and come back later?
in other words: The question is, wether the RNG has determined your win including respins and whatev er in the one moment you triggered the free spins OR if you can still influence the system??
I tried it several times, without being certain in either way.

I know that in the early days of Cleos gold (RTG) it was decided in the first second. Sometimes i played a simultaneous slot on a small screen (still possible i think) and it happened that in the moment, i hit the free spins at cleos gold, the balance in the other slot changed for exactly the amount, i "later" (???!!) won by the free spins.
    Best regards from Einstein....
It does not work anymore, but that has nothing to say about the RNG, right?

I used to do this for fun. Last thing at night, I'd go round Tstruck, Spring Break etc, playing til I got the Free Spins, then leaving them all sitting there 'til the morning, come back in and play them. Always thought it would make a good start to the day

But...I never felt the result would be different doing it that way...I ended up as disappointed with the result as much as if I'd played them the night before. The real plus was that you'd always be up at least some in the first 10 minutes of the day

Yes! I do that sometimes and - as you consider - its good for psychology not for probability. Anyway. If luck is made between one s own ears, its a good way!

    Too close for comfort

You are getting uncomfortably close to something Simmo!!!!

The new EZBonus bubble has thrown light onto this mystery though. In a round of 50-UP VP I found that the "bubble" updated the balance as soon as I clicked on "draw" and moved the mouse pointer over, however, this balance included the end result of the drawn 50 hands BEFORE the cards had been displayed!!!!!!
I tried this on the free spins slots, on slow play. As each spin went I moved the mouse to create a refreshed "bubble". Although the balance updated before the spin had completed, each of the free spins seemed to be evaluated separately, rather than all at once as in the 50 hand VP draw.
I believe that leaving the slots in free spins, and playing the spins later can change the result from what it would have been. Unfortunately, this may not make things better or worse, unless one believes in the "streak" theory for MG rather than each spin being completely random.
This can give a positive start to the day, but not if all those free spins give nothing
This is quite safe in all MG casinos, as the server keeps a robust record of the game in play. I am not so sure about RTG though, although I have not tried it. There is no way to prove whether this changes the overall chance of winning though.
I have my own thoughts though. If free spins hit while reel wins are simply not hitting, then it seems that the bonus round will also be crap. I also find that when reel wins are hitting well it seems impossible to get the required scatters to trigger free spins. This seems to suggest that the reels can interact with each other either constructively (many wins), or desynchronised (few wins and 15 to 20 spin famines). I cannot see how the RNG in MG casinos keeps hitting this sudden 20+ spin spell with not a single win, yet mostly hits repeatedly on the tiny wins (such as pair of 9's) during the majority of play. On 5 Reel Drive I have noticed that these long famines are when the 3 and 4 scatters tend to hit, usually mid-way. If this also happens on the free spin slots it is no wonder that the bonus rounds seem unexpectedly poor.

That is one of the funniest degenerate gambler quirks I've ever heard. Please provide more detail so that I may begin doing this nightly! Can you just exit to the lobby after hitting the free spins and they will be there waiting for you later? It might be fun to play every free spin slot and align all the planets for one big free spin marathon. Of course, one might not get to bed til 8 in the morning waiting on those 3 pairs of rams!

    Degenerate

    For MG,
Play on autoplay till free spins hit. Instead of clicking on "start free spins" simply exit the game and return to the lobby. Go to the next free spin slot and repeat. Remember to deposit liberally as you go along until your Neteller is empty. If you still have some slots left use a credit card or debit card. When these are empty, and if you live in the UK, go round the house looking for stashes of money, such as the kid's moneyboxes, the wife/husbands purse or handbag, the gas/electric meter. Take this to the post office, WH Smith etc and buy UKASH and deposit this in the casino. If you succeed in getting the free spins set up on EVERYTHING and have some money left go treat yourself. You will also have won the "degenerate slotjunkie of the month" award

Incidentally, this was more than a scientific curiosity, it gave me substantive proof that the "Wheel of Cash" at a certain group was "rigged" rather than random when the bonus account was present. I have found that this changed at the beginning of the year, and it is now more uniformly random, and a good deal tighter!! (all denied by their spokesperson!).

The evidence, "lose" a lot in the games, and hey-presto 8 Wheels of cash in less than 8 hours!!!! Get a Pat Royal and play for 2 months off the proceeds (different casino), hey-presto 8 Weeks in a row with NO wheel of cash despite hours and hours and hours of play!!! Cheat! I cried, "random" came the reply, "no way" I said

I can confirm this and the explanation is simply. The results of all hands are
sent in 1 packet. The same is true for slots. And this can be seen easy when playing slots in the MG flash client. As soon as you reviece the packet
there will be a file named x[1].x or x.x in your Temporary Internet Files/Content.IE5 file folder. This file is in XML-format and opening it shows the result of the reels (reelposition1=14, reelsposition2=24 etc..). This was discovered by Kimms.

Still freespin on MG are only sent 1 at a time. So I do not believe those theories about waiting etc. You will recieve random spins in all cases. Only the time you request the spin is important and the speed of your computer the network, the internet etc. will have small influence on the time the RGN handles the request.

So waiting will give a different result, but wether it is better or worse is still random! Actually the RNG has no idea at all what is a good 'spin'.
It just generates a random number between 0 and 1. (Maybe it generes 5, 1 for each reel). The program then maps this random number into and
integer between 0 and 30. (if the reel has 30 symbols). The RNG does not know the result are mapped this way after... And it certainly does not know
what symbols are on the reels on which position. It does even know the results are used for a slot and not the roulette.

I was playing Moonshine last night and got loads of free-spins (7 times in 267 spins).
Unlike my findings a few weeks back, I got good picks - 8 to 12 free spins @ x2 or x3...
However, the free-spins themselves were all totally crap! I only got a few tiny wins each time - never winning more than 10x my triggering bet
    Random? No way!
    Smile, it may never happen...

As I just started playing slots I had no idea what free spins mean. Once at Golden Reef I played Bush Telegraph and won $70 and 20 spins. I was happy about $70 and ignored the spins. Went to play somewhere else. Next day I wanted to play Bush Telegraph and couldn't because there was 'Start free Spins'. I thought 'What the hell is going on?' and wanted to call CS
Then I risked to start the spins and won almost $2000. Now I know what 'Free Spins' are!
