    Angry Beware of MG Roulette

Yes you read it right. Dont go near this casino. Although sources might tell you otherwise. Their roulette animations are easily the dumbest cover-up in the world. The ball goes round and suddenly appears into a number slot without being shown its falling in

I dont care if people tell me they're Microgaming or whatever crap.

I won on their roulette wheel when I was wagering low and lost it all
when I started wagering high. I wagered upto 55$ on the roulette wheel per spin with a super high chance of winning! (PM me for an explanation) And yet they cleaned me up.

Till now I have found just one single online casino which is fair : Global Player

Should this post not be in the "Disasters While Drunk" thread? <sarcasm>

So you lost, therefore this casino and every other Microgaming one operates a "cover up"? Hmmm. Let me consider that for a moment.

In all seriousness, if you get this emotional over losing, you really ought to sit back and consider whether gambling online is the best thing for you shiv888.

Having played at Vegas Slendido myself I can tell you these guys are straight as an arrow, no problems at all here for me.

Sounds like you have just had a bad run...it happens...especially with roulette.

I rarely play roulette myself, but I agree that MGs roulette animations in terms of gameplay are not as good as their other games.
The clearest roulette table I have ever seen is at Casino-on-net, as soon as the ball spins you can watch its exact progress until it lands, without needing a magnifying glass to see the numbers!

That is what happens when you play a roulette system.

All MG casinos aren't bad. But this one sure is. And I have lost at other MG casinos whom I would still hold up as good. However, as is the case in this particular casino and only this, if you look at the way the ball lands in roulette there is no freakin logical explanation to it. Just dont brag without playing the casino's roulette game and then you will know what I am talking about

Damn! The trick is to jar the table when the ball is in rotation. The way to do this is to slap the right side of your monitor when the ball nears the number of your choice. This sounds weird but it works for me every time.

I've played it, and like you I don't really like it compared to other software. But that's no reason to suspect it's a cover-up. It's just a different graphical way of displaying the result of a random number. Your initial post just sounds like you are bitter at losing and looking for someone else to blame.

The latest game releases from Microgaming have European Roulette Gold which apparently has been extensively revamped, with particular attention to ball animation...that might improve matters.

Here's the press release announcing the changes - European Roulette Gold is in the first bit:

TRADITION, MYTH AND FAST SLOT ACTION
    IN MICROGAMING RELEASES FOR MAY

Microgaming announces its latest launches for the month of May - four new games that cater for roulette, slot and video poker players.

The first is a totally new version of the company’s well established European Roulette Gold game, in which the latest technologies have been used to present an easy to use, smooth playing, traditional casino game. Billed as the best in the market, Microgaming developers conducted intensive player research in order to ensure the game achieved an ideal balance of sophisticated ambience with hi-tech efficiency and ease of use.

Outstanding graphics showcase the razor sharp quality and true colour reproduction of the walnut-rimmed table through to the wide choice of player controls and assists, and the game delivers fast and positive action and the feel of true quality.

Control buttons such as Call Bets, AutoPlay, Redo and Undo are sized and positioned for maximum convenience, together with zoom in snapshot windows to ensure that players remain in the picture and on the numbers.

Through the use of new wheel and ball animation technology, interactive chip selection, animated 3D chip action, precision graphics and crystal clear ambient sounds, this online game has an authentic feel, and the new ‘brass’ frame buttons plus the inclusion of a useful Bet Timer add to the quality and the realistic experience of the game.

Extending Microgaming’s selection of big, epic-themed games is the new video slot Avalon, which harks back to a bygone mythical age when chivalrous knights roamed the land rescuing damsels in distress. The five reel, 20 pay-line game features exquisite illustrations, with free spins, mystery multipliers, Scatter and two Wild opportunities and a Gamble feature where the intrepid can double or quadruple wins on the right selection of suit or colour. With up to 15 Free Spins (with the possibility of up to seven times multipliers) this is a game that ranks high in terms of excitement and opportunity.

The latest in Microgaming’s series of six 100 Play Power Poker VP games, the new Double Joker multi-hand video poker, offers new levels of excitement and action in this popular genre, on which thousands of players have found hours of solid entertainment and reward.

Up to 100 hands of video poker at a time can be played simultaneously with a wide choice of wagers. For the gambler with a good bankroll and a penchant for action this is the ideal game, and it comes on the features-rich Viper software platform with autoplay and a range of player assists.

Finally, Microgaming issues a major thrill warning with the launch of Twister, a five reel, 15 pay-line video slot that is set to blow players away. With Wild and Scatter symbols, a Free Spin bonus feature with spins within the free spins, together with a double-your-money gamble opportunity with a $10 000 ceiling, it’s easy to see why this one could have slots fans in a whirl.

This tornado of fun and thrills has a humorous airborne trailer park theme that has everything from pick-up trucks to outhouses up in the air and an amusing cast of characters populating the lines, all executed in bright, clear graphics and backed with easy to use player controls.

Twister will keep players on the edge of their seats, with hours of great entertainment and the possibility of substantial rewards – for example the top jackpot in the base game is a cool $75 000, and that can be lifted by the Twister to $150 000 with free spins.

Roger Raatgever, Microgaming CEO comments, “These latest releases further reinforce our commitment to providing players with the best gaming experiences, in the widest number of categories. We are committed to continually improving our existing games, as well as creating totally new gaming experiences and as a result, we’re sure players will respond to these and the rest of the games lined up as part of our busy release programme over the course of this year, extremely positively.”

The latest releases are part of an ambitious schedule of some 60 planned by Microgaming for 2006.
