Golly Spearmaster, I'd almost be led to believe that you lived in Korea at one time.![]()
What many would consider to be esoteric terminology (for anyone outside of Korea), you've got all the names down effortlessly. "Bulgogi", now "Kalbi"...![]()
The man is a walking "LET'S GO" tourist book. Maybe you should teach me a little about Korea! If it's not a natural interest of mine, I'm anything but "autodidactic".

Wow John, great job!
I would have to put Crypto at he top of my tree.
The best multiplayer tables, great selection of games, progressives, best monthly bonuses. I also love the lobby and think it gives a real feel to the casino, you can get to most games just by clicking its picture in the lobby.
MG gets my vote for second overall, if it was a slots only poll it would by far be number one. IMO MG still has things to iron out, cashouts and this reverse withdrawl crap being a major issue for me.
All the rest get a joint 3rd.... I've played at RTG, Playtech and Boss casinos in the past. Not enuff to comment on the now and with what I read daily thats not likely to change.
One more to mention, PartyGaming Casino. Fuking Yuk!!! Number 10!! If the fish swim they'll be rinsed in no time. Reputable, i'm sure but the games available at the moment have a lot to be desired. They dont have any proper VP just some stupid bonus things that pay 1000 for a natural and slots that in real life given a kick would probably fall apart. Add to that the progressives aren't yet been tracked by slotcharts and we have a baby casino with no history or info on returns. Maybe it deserves the chance to grow and be re visited in the future, maybe not.

Fantastic post JS, a very good debate subject indeed. I personally voted for Cryptologic. I have played over 100000 hands of poker on this software without a single problem whatsoever.
As for MG, i dont doubt that they are superb but since I had an issue with Ladbrokes BJ back in 2004 I vowed never to play on MG again and ive stuck with it to this day.
Have tried PlayTech once but had probs with Corals cashout so dont bother with it.
Never tried RTG, is there an RTG casino that is UK friendly? (ie dont get ripped of on the £-$ rate)
Love your posts JS![]()

Mind you, I have to admit it's better then Playtech - almost nothing, and RTG - actually nothing!![]()

I would agree (why and how could I disagree...) with you that the Crypto is the best. I guess I when I gave my thumbs up for PlayCheck, I was pretty much comparing it to what PlayTech uses (and what RTG doesn't use). While I'm not too crazy about that delay, I still think PlayCheck is pretty good considering how far back you can go to check your sessions. But for the record, yes, Crypto is tops in this category.
I'm just glad you read my post.![]()
Taking a look at the poll, and where it sits now, I'm still puzzled as to why Cryptologic is trailing MG as much as it is.I thought (when making this thread) that there would be a few surprises from this forum, the main one being that (I guessed) a healthy portion of you would think that Crypto is the best. So far, I must say I'm surprised. Of course it's easy to see why MG would likely go 1st, but I never thought it would be this far of a gap between 1st and 2nd.

One reason I would think is that the majority of people (at least those who regularly post on here) aren't very keen on bonuses. Crypto's regular bonus (read: Intercasino and Will Hill) are one of their biggest highlights in my humble opinion, along with their quick and easy banking system.Originally Posted by johnsteed

I don't abuse bonuses, I just shake the sh!t out of 'em!
I can't comment on their slots, but Microgaming's single-hand video poker has to be one of the worst games I've ever seen. (Ok, the Atari 2600 has worse graphics... but only barely.) Where did they get those "cards"? Yeech! Square cards?!
RTG's multi-hand video poker isn't that great, but their single-hand game is very nice. At least the cards really look like playing cards, there aren't 1500 mostly-useless buttons on the screen (the infrequently-used controls are hidden behind a menu), the cards aren't the size of elephants (square-shaped elephants, even!), and their interface doesn't look like it was designed by a manic-depressive Windows UI designer on holiday from Bellevue. I'd even rate RTG's multi-hand game graphically better than Microgaming's single-hand game.
To be brutally honest, Microgaming's overall interface is stinkaroo awful, so bad that I can't bear using it. I'd expect simplicity from an online casino, because there just isn't that much that needs doing. And I'm far from a "stupid user"... yet I had a lot of problems even figuring out how to deposit money!
I was going to blame the most obvious look-and-feel issues on the fact that I use a large laptop display and their software insists on running in full-screen mode, but that's only a part of it. It's just an overall chunky, clunky design, at least the video poker portion--but I wasn't happy with their blackjack games either.
In terms of the software I don't have any complaints with RTG. It's simple, cleanly designed, attractive graphics, and easy to use; exactly what I expect from an online casino. It doesn't have a lot of features, but that's OK with me.
It's a shame, because I know 32Red is rated very highly around here. I certainly have nothing against them, but there's no way I'd want to spend time playing video poker with their software.
