    Grand Prive: New T&C

I have received a nice gift of 300 credits no deposit from Bella Vegas but I can't get my head round the t&c - here's an extract. Am I right in thinking this is a 30x sticky bonus with all games allowed? thanks for any comments..

"Prior to cashin a balance equal to, or greater than, the bonus amount must be in your account. This means that if you receive a $777 bonus, you cannot cashin before you've met the wagering requirements, and will have a balance of $777 left in your account after you cashin."

So what happens to the left over cash? Can I bet it on roulette? I mailed support a day ago but no reply (probably as it makes no sense to them either)

I believe your refering to Bella Vegas. I looked into yesterday and heres how it works:
you have to wager your deposit once. Then the bonus is credited to your account.

Bonus amounts credited to a Player’s bonus account are subject to 30 times play through before they may be cashed in.
Different games played may contribute a different percentage of the wager - up to 100%, towards the required play-through.
The contributing percentages are as follows:
    (a) Slots, American Roulette and Parlor Games count 100% towards wagering requirements
    (b) Table Poker, all Roulettes excluding American Roulette, Casino War and Sicbo count 50% towards wagering requirements
    (c) Video Poker, all Blackjacks except Classic Blackjack, Craps and Baccarat count 10% towards wagering requirements
    (d) Classic Blackjack counts 2% towards wagering requirements

kindof a new way to do wagering requirements, i thought it was interesting.

    Question but is it sticky?

    Thanks gmblpdam,
I'm still not clear on whether it's sticky or not. Must say I have never heard of a sticky MG bonus.. also this was free money and it is not mentioned at all on the T&C. Got my 300 up to 940 now so might as well carry on and hope for the best.

It's a phantom bonus, but (deliberately?) worded in a way that makes it sound like it's sticky!

    More from their T&C's:-
    * If a Player makes a withdrawal, their bonus account is reset to zero. This means that if a Player chooses to take back the money they deposited, they will lose any bonus money they may still have remaining in their Bonus Account.
    * Winnings on wagers made from a Player’s cash account are credited directly to their cash account. Winnings on wagers made from a Player’s bonus account are credited to their bonus account.
    * Where crediting a Player’s bonus account with winnings would result in the bonus account exceeding the size of the original bonus amount, any excess winnings are credited to the Player’s cash account.
This sounds exactly the same as the bonus at Global Player (equally confusing - I've played there for 3-months but STILL haven't worked out how the bonus works!!)

It sounds like you have two separate accounts with the casino - a 'real' one & a 'bonus' one, because it says you can choose to play real or bonus cash.
If the cash was all in one account, how could you choose?
But this can't be right either, otherwise you could just play with your bonus & never touch your real money!

Now I've confused myself even more!

These are the most unclear T&C's I've seen in a long time - but one thing is for sure: if you withdraw your cash the bonus is lost. i.e. it's definitely phantom.

I'm sure this offer is not as good as it sounds - any volunteers to try it...?

Yes I saw there was only one account by delving deeper into their website after my last post.
But I have still not figured out exactly how you convert your bonus cash into real cash...

I have the same problem at Global Player - I deposited about 3-months ago & got $30 bonus. I have played Roulette for many many hours (very low stakes, admittedly), my balance never went below $30, and yet to date I have only somehow converted $7 of the bonus into real withdrawable cash!

Your brain hurts? I'm going to have to operate Mr.Gumby!!

    Exclamation Now It's Clear

I didn't think of looking in the banking section, lo and behold you can actually see how much you can withdraw. Much to my delight I'm in the money!

    Result!
Looks like you didn't wager much - which game(s) did you win so much on?

Your case is simple because you only started with bonus money.
I still can't get my head around how it works if you deposit....

Things are further complicated by this apparently awful bit of maths in their T&C's:-
    Example 1:
    Purchase $100
    Bonus $100
    Total balance $200
Total Wagering $3000 (purchase and bonus) required in slots and keno only
Player wagers $2500 in slots and $750 in Roulette

At this point should your balance be as above: $500:
Since you have met 50% of the wagering requirement you can now cashin and receive 50% of the winnings ($250), whereas on the old system (without eZBONUS) you needed to meet the entire wagering requirements before you received ANY benefit.
Slots count 100% and Roulette 50% towards wagering, so how is "$2500 in slots and $750 in Roulette" 50% of $3000 ???

Also they are supposed to only remove the bonus when you cash in.
In the above example, if you had met 50% of the WR your 'bonus balance' would be $50.
    Therefore $500 - $50 = $450, not $250

I'm very interested in this offer as I love to play Roulette but usually don't because it's not included in WR at most places.

Hmmmm... might be worth a bash!

Any Meisters out there know how it really works???

Global Player has the best bonus system, unfortunately it is less generous now than it used to be. The idea is that if you lose, a certain percentage of your loss, depending on the game, is taken from your bonus balance, and the rest from your withdrawable balance, so as you play, your bonus balance decreases gradually. You can always withdraw your withdrawable balance, you just lose your bonus balance. The great features of this system are that there is no WR, and you can never be worse off than if you had not taken a bonus.

I think I can shed light on this.

Having seen the screenshots I now see what is going on. I played at Lucky Chance before it closed, and they had this type of bonus system in a single account, so NO, Grand Privvy did NOT come up with this themselves.
Lucky Chance was simple, and this looks similar. All the money is in one account, but partitioned into 2 segments. As you played, for each $100 wagered 2.5% converted into cash and could be withdrawn. At any withdrawal, any amount that was still bonus was lost. As the software cheated though, it was impossible to win by playing Blackjack basic strategy and win bonus back at 2.5%. The Blackjack game was just a slot in disguise.
With MG, I believe Grand Privvy will get "eaten alive" by the bonus whores, who will simply play Vegas Strip and/or Atlantic City at 10%, or small slot wagers that count at 100%. (Unless there is something I have not spotted in the edited version T & C!). Naturally, if Grand Privvy fail to pay out, or continue to be a source of problems, this scheme will be of no benefit.
It proves one thing though, MG casinos ARE capable of producing a tool for players to see how much towards WR they have made - this would be what makes this "Easy", not the convoluted T & C.
I am tempted to sign up, so will go away for xmas till the feeling goes away!
