    7 Sultans Withdraw

So I go to withdraw the other day via firepay and am informed there is an 8 day hold before it can be processed.. The money I used was already in my firepay account.. no pending eft's or anything.

Doesnt this seem a bit extreme?

    Cool Yep

But is typical. Usually fortune lounge casinos take 3 days for neteller. Never heard of them taking that long. Better contact customer support and have them explain that one to you. Good luck and congrats on the withdraw.

    Thumbs down

Their reasoning is that they have to wait this period to make sure no charges are disputed with firepay.. Which is an absurd policy because someone could just dispute it on the 9th day. Although I suspect there is no real way to reverse anything through firepay. Firepay makes you wait 7 days to withdraw anyway if there is a recent deposit. This would not even be a big deal if they listed the information as such on their website. I would have never deposited via firepay had I known this was their policy. Really sucks to wait over a week for an electronic cashout in the year 2005.

However, it is probably yet another stall static for the casinos to hold on to your money longer hoping you reverse the cashout and lose it all back.

    Very disapointed.

It's not a stall tactic. This is common policy for casinos when dealing with Firepay. These can be charged back - I've seen some nightmare stories. You should be using Neteller - it's much less problematic.

Bryan is absolutely right. This is not a stall tactic.

Firepay purchases can be charged back and 8 days is a reasonable period for us to ensure that the funds are indeed available. If you purchase and cash in through other purchase methods such as Neteller you will find that your cash-in is processed very quickly.

We will ensure this is published in the Terms and Conditions.

What's to stop someone from charging back via Neteller? They use the same checking account information from you. Firepay deposit are taken from your checking account the same amount of time as Neteller! There has to be another reason for this. I also have played at casinos that process Firepay withdrawals the same day you deposit there. IMHO these online casinos needs to update their policies.

Ya I have no problem with the policy, even though no site I have ever played with has made me wait over a week for a firepay cashout. The problem lies in there being no documentation on the website about it. Like I said above, I would not have deposited via firepay had I known there would be such a long wait.

Kind of takes the joy out of winning.

Our risk is lower with Neteller. If other casinos choose to accept higher risk it is up to them. From our experience, we are not prepared to do so at this stage.

Neteller guarantees the casino no chargebacks...
    That's why
Firepay will charge the casino back.

I appreciate your response in this thread and in others. It shows that you guys really care about the image of your casno.

That said, knowing the liability the casino has by accepting firepay payments why even offer it as a payment option? Seems to be more of a hassle then it's worth. No player wants to wait 8 days for a cashout, that is fact. It also shines a bad light on the casino when payments are not processed promptly.

Now in my case I think there should have been an exception made considering no mention of this policy on the website. How are players supposed to know what your policies are if they are not listed? I am going away next week on buisness and won't have access to the internet, thus can't send the money back to our account. So this happens to be an inconvienent situation for me. It is hard enough to win, without having to win yet again to get paid.

    Again thanks for your response.
