    Misleading Nostalgia ad.

Sorry to have a go at one of Bryan's accredited sites, but a flashing banner ad on this site says that you can double your money with a 200% bonus.

I'm sure we all know that doubling your money would be a 100% bonus.
What they are in fact offering is two 100% bonuses on two separate deposits of up to $100 - this is still only 100%, not 200%!

This is the same 'cheap' tactic used by some dodgy RTG's - saying you can get 1000% bonus when in fact it's 10 x 100% bonuses!

I'm sure this is just a silly mistake by Nostalgia and hopefully they will correct it soon. This is the last place I would expect to see false advertising.

Thanks for the heads up. Yanked the banner and I'll let them know what's up.

    No problem.

BTW, if anyone is thinking of taking up this Nostalgia offer my advice is don't!

This has got to be one of the worst SUB's I've ever seen!
The bonus is sticky, you have to wager is 20 times and can only keep the profit.
And on top of that you have to wager your deposit 20 times before you can withdraw as well!!
(Oh, and it's slots only unless you want to increase your WR two or three times!)

    That's not a bonus - it's a ball & chain!

    Hi KK!

Personally, I've been rather fortunate this month (my greatest month in years... so long October ). And I've taken up a few of those offers from casino's that have those bonus accounts, and then of course, the real accounts. I've fluked-off and managed to do well on most of those. But, for me, I'll only deposit only a small amount (let's say $50) so that the match w/wagering requirements aren't so steep.

I got hammered a couple months back when I got a match on a $200 deposit. I was up by quite a bit in the bonus account, up about $1,300), but seeing how I had to play for such a long time to fulfill the wagering requirements, I lost it all (damn Tombraider cold streaks!!!). I guess some like their money to last (it doesn't matter if they win, just if they had fun), and I had to play forever trying to meet those wagering requirements, but alas, long days of inching towards zero. So, if it's for $50, I'm not losing so much (if I lose), the requirements are still (agreed) steep, but attainable in a much shorter burst. I'm like you in that I don't bet much per spin, so low-rollers (to me) will get hammered the most (to meet WR that is).

Nowadays, I'll only deposit large w/match bonus, if I'm going to be playing a mixture of BJ w/slots. I know that it REALLY increases the wagering requirements, but in my eyes, high WR goes by relatively quickly playing BJ (even on minimum hands and relative to playing low-bet slots).
