Mary seems to be keeping the most conscientious records of this disgraceful and irrelevant spamming, and that could make an interesting representative example of how much of this crap players are receiving, perhaps for wider publicity purposes or reporting to the authorities.

How about a statistical breakdown, Mary?

Hummmmm........

Today is the fourth day in a row that I have NOT received any email spam from FL or its affiliates. I cannot explain why this is so, but am wonderfully surprised that I seem to be off their lists!

inthedesert has been spending a lot of time in the forum
I am happy for Suzecat it has stopped. I hope it's a sign of positive things to come. I highly doubt it. I probably get 10 of these FL spam emails per day. That's on three different accounts.

The reality is that FL doesn't care about this. They don't care about the players, if they did this would stop. They don't care about the honest affiliates who are trying to do right. If they did this would stop. They say they have no control over it. Yeah, we know that's crap.

Just be honest (FL) and say your allowing it to happen and won't do anything about it. That's a lot better than giving crap excuses that we all in the end know is bull.

Ivy29 is on a distinguished road
spam

I'm still being bombarded daily by this spammer, combined with my regular FL email with those "generous" ten percent Neteller deposit bonuses. I will never deposit there again.

Every few days the spammer changes his "from" so my block sender doesn't catch it.

It's not ruining my life, its the point that they have chosen to do nothing about it that pisses me off.

I get a minimum of three a day; the ones like this one getting through the spam filter are coming more frequentlythan before.

Not eligible. You know the drill.

So far I got 12 of them this weekend, and now I am starting to get pissed.

I didn't use the free time promo because I was worried about being associated with the spammers! So this is losing me (and the casino) money too.

But now I am being bombed by this so badly, I am seriously considering turning them all in.

What a bloddy nuisance!

This is a long-ass thread, and I don't have the privilege to spend a lot of time looking for the answer for the following question - but for those of you still receiving this spam, have you used the "remove" link provided in the spam message? If so, are you still receiving spam at the same address. If not, why not?

Usually with the non-FL itself spam, when I click on the unsubscribe link, I get a blank page, or a Not Available page. So I just block them on my hotmail.....although I did receive the same mailer-daemon thing Mary got this morning. The stuff from FL itself I don't mind getting.

One of the spammers' tricks is that they use these removal requests to confirm that someone is reading the e-mails. Such live addresses are obviously more valuable. Even if you get removed from one e-mail list, you might find yourself included on a dozen other ones.

I'm aware of the "spammer trick" - I'm just wondering if these spam victims are clicking these links and receiving/not receiving further spams.
