I was telephoned by FL as I actually have an account. They wanted to know if I was interested in the generous offer they had sent me. I had not received anything, but I have been getting offers from other casinos that I have played in (FL actually have my permission to send offers related to their brand as I have a Royal Vegas Account).
It transpires that NTL (My ISP) have introduced a Spam filter that has been running since some time this August. FL are clearly one of the first to go into the NTL Blacklist, as the filter simply junks all spam by default, other groups that have not had this problem are fine - I get their promotions. NTL do not provide a "whitelist" for me to allow FL to send E-mails to me. I only have the "all or nothing" option on the spam filter. The "nothing" option does allow for the adding of a "Spam" flag in the subject line that I can use with Outlook rules.
Clearly, the problem is leading to a loss of communication with their existing player base, and not just AOL, but other ISPs are getting these global Spam filters. They will need to negotiate with several ISP's to get back on track once this problem is solved.

I have also noted that Jackpot Factory has become "spam" as far as NTL are concerned, and I have noticed a lack of E-mails from BelleRock recently, so I suspect the same fate has befallen them, possibly due to this latest debacle. This could lead to ISP's banning ALL Online casinos as "spam" - I am sure the industry must realise the problems this will cause them in communicating with existing players, and also those who have indicated an interest, but are unaware that their ISP has added the casino concerned to the blacklist.
I have also stopped receiving Casinomeister mail, some thread update notifications (probably based on last post content), all Casinomeister newsletters, even though only a link is now sent.

After all my complaints about FL and other MG that won't download, I did receive CD's (2 of them a day apart?) from FL and one from All Jackpots. The All Jackpots loaded all the games so I can play any of them (except for recent additions like golden goose and the Halloween ones, no big deal).

The FL ones are just partial casinos. Not all the games are there. They put all the casinos on one CD so I guess it only installs part of the games for each and you are expected to download the rest of them. I can play the flash version for that many games. Very disappointed. Its like no one is really paying attention to what I am saying.

In the meantime, I get calls from marketing offering me a generous 10 percent bonus from FL. First of all TEN PERCENT? Please. That's insulting. I can get that many other places I have no problems with for a Neteller bonus or more. It was like adding insult to injury since I couldn't play all the games anyway. What happened to the weekend 40-60% bonuses? You'd deposit on the weekend, opt in and get the bonus Monday back when I played a lot there. Don't even get me started on the non-cumulative comp points.

And I'm still on the spam train with this affiliate whore and I'm plenty tired of it.

I have spent all weekend investigating the download problems.

I have just sent them an enormous E-mail with my results. MG will probably do nothing as usual, but it's big enough to give them indigestion!

They might want to take note though at MG, as I might mention "Spiral Solutions" and its part in the constant re-re-re- downloading of "data" to my PC when I am logged into certain MG casinos that are already fully installed and fully up to date. What Data? Why?
