    This has to be one of the more shocking online casino stunts I've seen and exhibits an almost complete disregard for players and their privacy in inserting covert malware into a general and indiscriminate download.

    And that doesn't even address the fact that it unethically and unfairly attacks competitive sites (regardless of their reputation.)

    I expect this will have serious repercussions for the GF company and its leadership, not just in a business and maybe litigative sense but in respect of its membership of trade associations like the IGC and iGGBA too - it is inconceivable that those bodies will let this go unremarked.

    It would also seem that GF management has underestimated the ability of members of the online gambling community to see through BS when it is being dished up, even with an apology. *Anti-spam measure* just doesn't cut it.

    I don't see this astonishing incident just ending here, nor should it.

    I don’t know if Gambling Federation use rigged software. But I know there is only one solution to that kind of activity that has been exposed here. The entire gambling community must boycott Gambling Federation and send them out of business the hard way.

    Every potential rogue operators must know that the gambling community doesn’t know the word mercy or forgiveness if an operator crosses the line.

    We have issued an update that removes those changes in the host file. It will take about 1 to 2 hours to propagate the changes to all casinos using the Gambling Federation software.

    To install the repair simply open the Gambling Federation casino software and let it load up; it prompts you for an update, let it install the update.
    Once the software restarts the host file will be repaired.

    Again, we deeply apologize for this situation, we understand your frustration.

    Installing malicious programs within an online casino download is inexcusable. The net is a vicious place at the best of times but you wouldnt expect to get sh$t installed on your PC from a bloody online casino that you are gonna donate to anyway. They should be shut down full stop and never forgiven. They must have realised that they would be discovered doing this and went ahead anyway due to plain, ugly GREED.
