    B&M Annoyances

It had been awhile since I made the 3 hour trek to my nearest B&M (Coushatta Casino in Louisianna)....so decided to get out of the house last nite to try my luck.

I faired ok, but was reminded of why I enjoy playing online more as of late.

Here is my little list of what annoys me most about playing at B&Ms:

-People simply sitting down at a slot and not playing....sometimes taking a snooze....come on, the casino is full, I shouldn't have to tell you to get the f**k up!

-Big spender hitting 1,000 coins on a penny slot, and then looking around smugly to see if anyone else has noticed their big win

-Same as above, but smoke a whole cigarette watching the counter add up.

-Obnoxious table players...unfortunately I went on a Friday nite, so there was an abundance of these.

-Finally, and not really an annoyance, but still makes me shake my head....I was watching this lady next to me play multi hand VP....she was playing jacks or better, and playing 25 lines, and held an A,K, and 9, all different suits And I am not one who likes to give unsolicited advice.

Anything else you would like to add....

    "Couples" who play together.
One sits at the machine and the other sits next to them giving advice. Or they BOTH play one machine. None of that would matter if they would stfu and quit yammering and disrupting MY flow while playing MY machine

Oh yes and people who stop in the middle of aisles. Just stop dead and stand looking around like they have no idea where they are. Meanwhile they are blocking anyone else from moving on through.

LOL these 2 types drive me nuts also!
The ones whose machines make a shit ton of noise while ringing up the credits and want you to see what a "good job" they have done. I am the kind who immediately will hit the play button so other people don't have to listen to mine crediting.
I am all for anyone winning but for gods sake you don't need that much recogition for it , do ya?!?

I agree to all of the above..the noisey ringing up of $15 in pennies that takes ten minutes..I hit the button too and the people that stop in the middle of the aisle..happened last night! Lucky he didn't have coffee down the back of his shirt!

However...when I do make a cashout the money is in my hand in less than 2 minutes I don't have to prove who I am with 15 forms of I.D. and my sons middle name. It's there in my pocket ready to go home with me

An ideal life does not exist; but a happy one can be attained.

My wife and I were playing in the wee hours of the morning at an Indian casino an hour from us in a neighboring state. Out comes a couple techs with a cart full of computer chips and they were literally changing the computer chips in the slots right before our very eyes. One would work and the other was constantly looking around as though they thought they were being sneaky. No wonder the place is pack but you never see anyone winning anything big there.

So, I guess that annoyed me enough that I don't trust them and won't go back. I think the so called gambling commissions around here don't do anything anyway and certainly, as long as I have been playing, have never seen them involved in anything.

Hiya: What i don't like is the, "Expert" Black jack player, who insist on telling others, "without them asking" how to play their hand. If they lose, it was because someone at the table did not play properly.

So, to avoid this, i like to find a Empty table. But it does not stay that way for long, maybe 2-3 hands at most, until others buy in. There was a survey done several years ago that said, "Most people will sit at a BJ table that has other players already at it, vs, being the first/only one one to buy in at an empty table. This is Soooo true.

But far and away, is the, "Let's all go in different directions" ploy. My wife will have friends, usually from Hawaii where we used to live, come visit vegas. We will meet up, and go to a casino, Usually on the strip. They walk in the door, and all take off in different directions....

I am left standing there, trying to see where each of them went, so when it is time to leave, it is easy to find everyone. Translation=Me walking around the entire Casino many times, finding one person, walking more to finially find another person, just to discover that the first one i found,
    is now gone.

Then my wife will call me on the cell phone, "I did not hear it ring, but i check in once in a while and see the missed call message", and ask if her friends are with me? Ummm, NO. Then she ask, "Where are they"? All i can say is, "Honey, they are not here at the Roulette table"..............hehehe
"All I want, is to WIN my fair share, and maybe just a teeny bit more"

These B&M annoyances exist the world through... from sleepy guests infront of slot machines to agrressive BJ players... seen them all lol...

If a couple is playing a machine, i would often give up my seat for the lady to sit although im playing the machine.. i just like being courteous

For me, i best enjoy it because u always have CASH or CHIPS in your hand and are able to make a run when you are ahead... No paperwork or delays

The hate for me has gotta be when you need to try and place your bets over 5 people on the AR table... Non-Players here can be so annoying

I was at Fort Hall Casino (an Indian casino north of Pocatello, Idaho) this weekend and internally rolled my eyes at this guy who gave his "advice" at the virtual blackjack table. The guy refused to stay on anything except 20. He hit 18 at least five times, and, not surprisingly, busted every time. Nonetheless, he was a true believer in his philosophy.

To each their own. At least they aren't playing with my bankroll.
As I left, I found a single-player machine that offered 3:2 blackjack with late surrender (the community table didn't have surrender), as well as full pay jacks or better. I know where I'll be spending my time the next time I go

(The worst part was that I ran out of cash before he did, and I'm the one who's spent hours memorizing basic strategy. Go figure. LOL )

People who insist on playing 3rd base at a BJ table, when they have no clue what they are doing. I've adopted a rule.....If I can't play 3rd base, I don't want any part of that table. I like being the last guy who has to make a decision, besides the dealer. That way I don't have some idiot hitting when they should have stayed and vise versa. Instinct players are the worst. Hell with that....play correct stategy, nothing else.
