All of these are so damm true it makes me laugh. The smoking thing doesn't bother me as there is no smoking up here anymore but the people who creep behind you breathing on your neck like your machine is the one and only in a casino with thousands thats what pisses me off. Everytime somebody does it I swear I don't win a freaking cent.

Ok, I got a couple after a visit to the Indian casino a couple days ago.

I was playing a machine and my intention was to play it a good long time. This lady comes up and tells me I should go find another machine to play so others will have a chance to play it. I told her to look at it like a lease on a building....as long as my money is in it, I'm not going anywhere.

My wife was playing two machines at the same time and this dude walks up and asks her which one she wants to play. She was like, huh? He goes, the sign on the machine says only one machine per customer. Actually, it says "management may request that you only play one machine during peak business hours." So, I asked the guy, are you a manager? No, he says. Good, then get out my grill or I'll call security on you for harassment! That was the last we saw of him.

I don't have a problem with smokers in the casinos in Shreveport/Bossier. However, I do have a problem with the ones that come sit next to me, then blow their smoke right in my face. I use to smoke myself and believe that if you want to smoke, then smoke. Just be courteous and at least blow your smoke up away from my face.

Another thing that just torques my jaws, if you are going to leave your machine for any length of time, then lean the chair over (universal sign of a taken machine at these casinos) on the machine. Don't leave $.50 in there and take off and then have a bitch fit when someone else is playing it. Or leave your cards dangling and take off. As if I know that you are coming back.

There is a real big problem in Shreveport/Bossier with people coming in to watch TV and get free drinks. They put $1 in a machine and play a penny a spin just so they can drink for free and watch the big game. And they are usually taking up the machine I want to play.

That's why I've always been in favor of a minimum amount , say $10 worth of action, before you can have a drink, or must at least be playing all lines on the machine, otherwise you are loitering.

Reserving machines makes me think of this particular experience I had at the Vehicle Licensing Department once...

I was waiting in a queue and when my turn came up to go to the teller, a gent barged in front of me and said he was before me ..
So i said to him... "Dude, you were nowhere near me in the queue and it’s the first time I see you" ... he turned pointing to an empty chair and said "You see that piece of paper on that chair? … I left it there about an hour ago to say ill be back..."

I burst out laughing and let him go ahead... he was serious and no logic could be injected into his numb skull...
