There are plenty of people offering useless advice... They are known as 'Professional loiterers' .. They hope that the useless advise they give you results in some sort of win for you... They then ask you for a buck or 2 as compensation...

    B & M Annoyances

Oh, let me count the ways. All of the above, and lets add:
The smokers who sit down next to you and light right up
The people who MUST bump into your chair when negotiating the aisle
The people who stand behind you waiting for your machine
The people to the right and left of me winning when I do not LOL
Kids in the casino (The casino resorts do attract some families but they really need a place for the kids to play besides the expensive arcade, esp. when it rains and the pool is closed)
Rude people at the buffet, cutting in line, etc.
Rude people at the casino shows, talking, texting, and taking pictures

All this said, thank goodness for the B & M's or I couldn't gamble anymore,
and there are so many great folks who go. We just returned from the Beau where we played in a slot tournament and we had the best time and met a lot of great folks.

I like being the last guy who has to make a decision, besides the dealer. That way I don't have some idiot hitting when they should have stayed and vise versa. Instinct players are the worst. Hell with that....play correct stategy, nothing else.
Other's play may upset you but as long as you play the correct way for you (I assume perfect basic strategy), how and where at the table anyone else (some idiot) plays does not effect you as far as your wins, losses, and pushes (over time).

Quite often due to the higher stakes I use to play, the player at 3rd base (usually a somewhat knowledgable player with a 3 card 16 w/ a 4 or 5 for example) would ask me what I wanted him/her to do! I always answered the same, I wanted him/her to do whatever he/she wants to do and forget about me. Then I thanked him/her for asking but it does/did not effect me (unless I know/knew the future draw of the cards)!!

3rd base may be beneficial with a sloppy dealer though as you may be able to catch a glimpse of the hole card!!

Hiya: Nash brings up a good point. It is one thing for a person to play BJ and have no clue as to what to do, "they hit their 17 against the dealer 6 up card", and things like that, vs actually asking someone else at the table what they should do. But, imhop, worse of all is when they ask the dealer what they should do, and the dealer points at, "YOU", and tells the player, Ask Him............Don't ask me, It's your money.......

This does not happen often, but it does happen. Red chips are $5. If there are many people at the table, and you say, "Give me $100 in $5 chips", they will sometimes just give you colored chips, "Yellow as example", and place a $5 marker ontop of a yellow chip on the Roulette wheel, so everyone knows you are betting $5, and not $1. This is done so you do not have more than 1 person at the same table, both using Red $5 chips.

On more than one instance, i walked up to a table with $5 red chips. I was the only one with these chips. I started placing them on Numbers. Then another person walked up, Also with $5 red chips, and was also placing them on Numbers. I had not finished yet, but now had no idea what Red chips were mine, that i had already placed, and what chips belonged to the other player?

This is not suppose to happen. The second player is suppose to have their chips removed, and changed to a different color. How else will they know if the #12 hits, and it had 3 Red chips on it, "2 are mine, 1 is another player", who to pay, and how much to play? Station Casino's are really bad, as in letting this happen more than once.

The smoking thing I'm just not having much sympathy over. Isn't it implied that if you are going to play in a smoking establishment, you are going to get exposed to smoking? It is annoying to me when people who sit in the smoking section of the slots floor complain about smoking. Most casinos have a non smoking slot area. Those players who are bothered by the smoking should be playing there. BTW, I am a former smoker, but I would never consider playing in the smoking area and imposing my non smoking will on the smokers.

Many of your points are spot-on!

I personally hate people who are behind you while your playing on a slot machine, and if you win something, they tap you on the shoulders and ask you how much you won.

I'm not very superstitious, but every time that happens, I won't win anything else on that machine.

Personally I find the free suites, free room service, free 5 star restaurants, free shows, free spa, free massages, free drinks, free airfare or limo, free phony ass kissing as if I'm someone special very annoying. I find this very distracting while I'm trying to gamble. Plus everything else being said here, it's amazing I even bother going.

Especially when you consider I could deposit 4K online and get a 100% match free bonus. We all know how easy it is to wager 200K on slot machines before being able to cash out big wins. In fact at a couple of online casinos I think with my comp points I could even get a T-shirt with the casinos name on it.

It's obvious I need my head examined for even setting foot in a land B&M.

Your head is fine. I have the proof but I can not show you but I have investigated. If you can prove otherwise, too bad. I see no reason to send you to the Rogue Pit.
