Wager Junction:

They have reverted back to the old Terms and Conditions that state the affiliates will be receiving 35% in Commission.

They have removed the 3-month ruling that stated if you did not deliver an active player for a 3-month period they had the right to close down the account.

They have added to the terms and condition a paragraph that penalizes partners that copy content and sites.

The changes to the Terms and Conditions have been made and are in place.

If they do make changes in the future they will be making these changes on the basis of the change being made going forward.

They do doubt that any further changes will be made.

Wager Junction took out all their bad T&Cs and added in a nice clause about protection from content thieves. They are not in breach anymore.

Referback has taken out the retroactive clause they introduced this time, although there is an older one remaining in force.

I think things are looking up a bit - two out of five isn't bad! Maybe we are moving now!

Kudos to Wager Junction and Greg!

Kudos to Brightshare who removed a pre-existing clause which required affiliates to generate continuous, monthly, new real player traffic. Nobody asked them to do this.

Kudos to Roxy Affiliates, who also listened to their affiliate partners and reversed a proposed change in their T&C's a few weeks back.

As far as Referback's pathetic change is concerned, I figure they're still screwing us, only now they've applied a thin layer of lubricant.

I mean, seriously--where DO people come up with this stuff? The easiest way to squash this rumour is to ask those spreading it, to cough up proof.

As far as I know, it's only a rumour. No one tells me shit

But who knows...

And if so, so what? Would it make any difference that Carmen Media owns both FL and Bellerock? That's something to get your head around.

It would indeed be interesting if true.

Fortune, Belle Rock, ProcCyber and Microgaming are said to be owned by Carmen Media.

They would pretty much be a huge conglamorate controlling much of the online gambling scene.

They would also be taking a very huge beating now as affiliates are pulling Referback and Fortune. They would also have to be having to favor Fortune much over Belle Rock because the bad terms set forth by Referback are overshadowing the Fortune breach of contract by far. This even though RB's mess has no permanent consequences other than making Referback unattractive to promote. Fortune's breach of contract sets precendent and can make contracts in this industry useless in the future.

If this ownership scenario is true, these are bad days for Carmen Media though. They are coming off many, many affiliate sites, major affiliates too.

That's why I asked, Greedy. I have heard this through numerous sources, but have not seen any proof. It's spreading around and I would like some clarification.

You didn't offer any proof or explanation as what is goofy about it. Do you have any information that would disprove this rumor that you would like to share with the class?
