Just saying hello. I'm Shannon, live in the far reaches of rural Texas, and have recently begun playing a bit after my husband signed up at a few casinos. He plays here and there while I seem to hunt out playable/winnable free chip/free play offers. I'm waiting (waiting, waiting, waiting) on a few payouts from those and found out that unfortunately they're at White Label Rivals that've been rogue-listed - but more on that in a different post in a minute!

For now, nice to meet you, and hope to post more as I get in the swing of all of this stuff!

I am NOT from Texas but I am an old cattlewoman and horsewoman, and guess you are in the livestock business? There isn't much more to do in rural Texas, is there? (I don't mean to be rude, I am just curious, as I am not in the business anymore and I miss being out in the wilds.) Lots of great horse ranches down there, too.

Well that's a long minute!

There's actually only 2 Rival casinos which CM has rogued - I'm 99% sure one of them closed down ages ago and the other one had a change of management a few months back and so is probably OK now.
The rest are on the "Not Recommended" list - but most of them are safe to play IMO.
If you do run into any problems with your cash-outs I'll be happy to try to help in any way I can... as long as the casinos aren't on MY rogue list!

So much for making myself at home - I signed up, said hello and haven't had a minute to chat since then! (I make it sound like I'm so busy.. uh, NO. lol)

We're actually not in the ranching business, though we used to be - we used to raise Quarterhorses & Arabians along with cattle and goats (ugh) at one point in a joint venture with my parents. Now, my husband works for a wallboard manufacturing plant (think sheetrock), and though I used to be a jeweler with a big online presence I am now officially "retired" from that biz. (If by "retired" you mean "burned out and basically a housewife/SAHM").

I can, as you can tell, be REALLY chatty, so fair warning & thanks for the welcome everyone!

@2btakn - I'll wave the next time we skirt by Killeen on our way to College Station - I've got the one thing we never thought we'd have in our family - an Aggie whose a freshman in the Corps of Cadets.

I sure can understand the quarter horses. I bred and raised pleasure halter quarter horses and also race quarter horses for over twenty five years. But Arabians? Were they even close to matching the value of quarters? Other than being more refined with absolutely perfect heads, I just couldn't get into them. I preferred them for training simply because they were such eager and sensitive to learn horses.

i have to say howdy. im from houston. on the outskirts and not the downtown. thank goodness because i hate downtown. if you live in houston you know its really prettier on the post cards. as real life downtown is usually a mess. welcome
