Hi all,

I'm posting mainly cos the forum makes me guilty for not doing so but also thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm Pat and live in the UK. Gambling wise, I've been through the mill a few times - spent lots of time on various online casinos but got massively hooked on the video slots back at the turn of the century (mainly on 888 then intercasino). Had some good times (and free trips amonst other things) but also slightly(!) matured into seeing things how they really are. Still enjoy playing - sometimes for free (is that sad?!) - but actually find gambling in land based places makes me control my spend a little better.

Personally, I'm 32 and never had a proper job. Spent my life as a web marketer (not spamming!), in a niche that has nothing to do with gambling. Dipping my toe in with the gambling side of things but not hopefully treading on any in the process

You'll probably find me in slot forums in due course, that's where I get my kicks!

LOL ok there aren't any dedicated slot forums it seems. I must have been thinking there was after looking at some of the lovely screenshots on here over the last few years!

Maybe not a "dedicated slot forum", but IMHO this forum is much more slot-based than another other I have seen.
If you're thinking of starting one, my advice is "don't" - you will only be disappointed.
If you are thinking of promoting online casinos, my advice is "do" - but do your research and only work with reputable ones... and be VERY patient!

KK thank you so much for the polite response.

I'm not promoting generic casinos - the site I've developed is specifically slot based, but it's my experiences, not a forum. I can't take all the credit of being a supremo knowledge king on all things casino and I completely understand how sharky the waters of the industry are, so I'm only currently working with the ones I've actually had good experiences with (even if I've lost a LOT of money in the past!)

As for patience... thankfully I'm in the position where I can dabble 'on the side' without disrupting anything else, for now. I hope one day it'll be my main focus... I love what these big software houses are coming out with in respect to video slots, lots is so innovative and appeals to my geeky and gambly sides!
