did you find any good development company and if you could share your experience with us?
thanks,
Angela
Yes I did, I am in contact with the big guys (and waiting), but I found a few smaller companies that are interested, I am meeting with one this week, and the other at the end of the week, nice games..!!!
I have exactly the same experience. I have been slightly involved with involved in 5 outsourcing projects personally and but one failed miserably and the finianical loss has been nothing less than gigantic on these projects. First dating back to 2000-2001 in Bangalore (India) and the others more recently.
To be fair a few non-outsourced projects has also failed of course.
The one that succeded was a small project with only 4 outsourced programmers (eastern europe) and the size of the project was a factor in the succes also. But the major factor was we still have one highly experienced programmer from the company participating 100%. His job was reviewing every line of code besides a little coding himself. Bad code/misunderstandings was found within 1 day. And this was not a 'mission critical project' like most of the others unfortunately. Casino software is mission critical, there is no room for mistakes. And on these project you do need at least 1 non-outsourced expert (100K$+ yearly salery) And if you outsouce a project you will never get this person. At best you will get some average+ programmers.

Achievements:
I have been asked several times now in PM about AG's slots idea.
I never said I would keep AG's idea a secret, but I do feel that letting the cat completely out of the bag would not be appropriate.
I will ask you all a question though...
Would any of you be willing to play a slot machine where you KNEW every time what the results of the next spin would be, win or lose, before you dropped a coin?
Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?
Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...
