Hi from Texas, I have a patent Method that will allow U.S players to play online slots and similar games that will allow payouts with visa,M/C etc.. I am looking for developers to help, I have contacted micro gaming, wager works etc, but I believe these companies are too large to get anything done..... Also this method will allow for Brick&moter locations to have slots with cash payouts, including progressives&bonuses etc......... Thx, A.G

your point is??

It got my attention and not in a good way.. And I'm still not sure what you are asking??

Your name is not exactly welcoming if you know what I mean. You are proposing a system to get around the law, but with a name like yours it doesn't exactly ensure trust. Know what I mean dude?

Its a method patent, it hasnt seen case yet. And I doubt any D.A or A.G would even try (its that solid!) I would be more than willing to P.M an explaination of my method to anyone that can direct me to smaller developers. The main reason I joined the forum. Thx,

I'm with you, Laurijim. Took one look at the OP's name and didn't even want to open up the thread.

Surely not?
how do ya think i felt when i looked at the last 10 visitors on my profile page and saw attorneygeneral, almost peed my pants, thought oh crap, im going to the pokey:eek: all we can do is give the guy a chance and im sure rob and win and suze will let us know if hes cool or not, but we do need to be welcoming and friendly to him, i dont have a clue about what the threads about, over my lil head:).maybe he will change that name, all we need now is a bill frist:eek2:.....laurie

He did get me there,:D How about the name Denny Crane ?, I love Boston Legal. And my memory is just as bad as his........ I was looking for the thanks button also... Cant seem to change the name, carp wait till you see the avatar pending!

Slots = Game of chance = paying money to try and get more money = gambling = any way you look at it. It doesn't matter what method you use to pay for credits on the slot machine, or how you get paid, it's still gambling.

Sure, you could get the patent for whatever you're thinking of, but what good would that do? It'd still be illegal to implement.

Care to make a "bet"......... :) Some live in a box, some live outside the box, Me? I eat boxes... Some peoples glass is half full, some are half empty, I just wonder who the hell's been drinking out of my glass!

I'd like to revisit this topic/thread after AG has case law............hopefully for his sake, it will not be titled State of Texas vs. Attorney General...............:eek2:

Ha, good one. Today was interesting, I was in contact with two major game developers,,, something close to wally's and billiams. they really like it, alot! Still looking for a couple of smaller ones........Besides Rocket, the games they have are not very thought out and the bonus games, well, they just dont appeal to me. Still looking for suggestions. A.G

Wow that was fast, a troll on my second thread! I came on here looking for help, a simple request that if my method comes to fruition, may benefit not only myself, but affiliates, players, other casino's. My method may soften the blow to regulatory commisions and they mind as well give in to gaming. I see you have nothing to contribute to this post except a little bait. Good day...

ok suze or cindy im confused on still what the a/g is trying to sell ,can you explain to me in laurieneese:what: patents and texas and b/m casinos, this must be my dumb night:D........laurie

LOL.........laurie, you are not dumb! ;)

I think what AG is trying to do is patent a method he has created which circumvents existing rules for using credit cards to fund gambling. The B&Ms come into play because AG feels his patent will allow winnings made there to be credited to credit cards. AG is asking us for the name of software providers who may be interested in this system.

.................or I could have missed the mark completely :D

Your right on the Mark! Except I have my patent. And this method will work for online gameplay also..Geez, can I just pm Someone to verify my method and get all the b.s over with? How about you suzecat? That way I may be taken a little more serious on this topic......

Do you look like this guy?

I'm just having some fun today LOL

Some of you guys are a real class act, I dont even know what the term troll really means, I dont do forums much, but im sure its something to do with posting threads just to get s rise out of people? Suppose I will google it. If all you have to offer is name calling dont bother posting on my thread, otherwise I will just start a new similar one... What respectable member here would like to look at my method and tell others on this thread that im not BS ing? So far no one has offered anything constructive to the original question at hand. Geez, Grow up.

Furthermore, in a group that has become sensitized to trolling where the rate of deception is high many honestly nave questions may be quickly rejected as trollings. This can be quite off-putting to the new user who upon venturing a first posting is immediately bombarded with angry accusations. Even if the accusation is unfounded, being branded a troll is quite damaging to one's online reputation." (Donath, 1999, p. 45)[1]
As posted before does anyone besides the troll vultures have anything constructive?

For a "newbie' on this forum you sure act as though you swing a mighty sword. I suppose you are an old timer that has been kicked off a few times, and im sure rightly so... My method is legal ,,,,, repeat "LEGAL" "LEGAL", and I am dealing with the larger guys as we speak... as I mentioned before, they take too long to make decisions..And I am exploring all of my options, or trying to. GEEZ, you are making me sick, just dont post on my thread anymore. Does anyone out there have any idea about Gambling law, specifically 47.01 texas penal code? please stand up..... I read a post earlier about an internet cafe' being shut down and hardly anyone knew about sweepstakes law and how it can be used in an entertaining style manner to play games with cash payout, im sure this is way over you level as you prob. never study it, as most on this forum just seem to be players, not developers or casino owners. I will not let the ignorance of the few deter me in my objectives, call me troll, calll me illegal , whatever, you do not know what I know when it comes to law, otherwise you would show interest in how I am doing this instead of just rambling on with your uninformed accusations.

47.01. DEFINITIONS. In this chapter:

contrivance. The term:
(A) includes, but is not limited to, gambling
device versions of bingo, keno, blackjack, lottery, roulette, video
poker, or similar electronic, electromechanical, or mechanical
games, or facsimiles thereof, that operate by chance or partially
so, that as a result of the play or operation of the game award

credits so awarded and the cancellation or removal of the free games
or credits; and
(B) does not include any electronic,
electromechanical, or mechanical contrivance designed, made, and

(5) "Altered gambling equipment" means any
contrivance that has been altered in some manner, including, but

value, whether such scheme or procedure is called a pool, lottery,
raffle, gift, gift enterprise, sale, policy game, or some other
name.
(8) "Private place" means a place to which the public

buildings, transportation facilities, and shops.
(9) "Thing of value" means any benefit, but does not
include an unrecorded and immediate right of replay not
exchangeable for value.

Here is the Texas Penal Code you referenced. For the life of me, as a fellow Texan and know what I know about the gambling problems we have, I don't see where you are going to be able to circumvent the laws.

As my state representative said to me, "Gambling is illegal in Texas".

As for getting help on this forum, I think you are beating a dead horse.

Thank you anniemac!!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

IF (big IF) AG can successfully contravene Texas law with his patent/method, he still has federal law re credit cards to contravene..........like I said earlier, I await case law regarding that breach to satisfy me that this method works. Until then, I do wish AG much success with his method and hope there are no hard feelings.

I'm really familiar with the law, others tried (8 liner game rooms) to circumvent it by going around it. ie giving out walmart gift cards, ball bearings that you can cash back in at the local bearing distributor! yes I have seen that! Etc... I have seen it all, including aces wired stored point card, its a gift card in sheeps clothing. My method attacks the law itself, it does not bend it, go around it, it just runs right through it. The three elements that make gambling are prize, consideration and chance. Figure out the one that you can get rid of and you have the answer. If any of these elements are taken out, it is not gambling anymore. Example: A bar puts up the prize money for the nightly poker tourney, Legal! no consideration for the patron, I have taken out chance with my method, thus making no "bet" enough said.

Thanks suzecat, I/we are thinking of asking for a A.G opinion or just develop the dam thing and go for it. of course an A,G's opinion would be a golden ticket, but you must remember that it is an opinion only! And he can twist things anyway he wants,, I would rather be judged by 12 of my peers, as the A.G may have an agenda of his own?

I know several small developers... and some large ones as well.
I also, run some non-cash slots game sites.

Attorney General, PM me, I would like to see what you've got (never thought I'd be saying that...) :D

Sent, if you have any questions pm me on it,and forward the developers please. oh and by the way, please inform these folks here that its for real! I can see how they are not believing it... thx A.G.

So it sounds like you have already considered this may end up in a court of law.............and that does not scare you? Maybe I am just getting wussier with age, but if I can avoid the court system, then I will.......excuse me earlier, no need to explain mavericks to you!

Going to court on this doesnt bother me at all, im right! But the courts will have to consider what will happen WHEN they lose,,,,, Its a golden ticket! I actually would love to go to court on this as long as I file an injunction that lets me operate till court takes place. Game on. Hey, when your right, what do you have to be afraid of?

Hummmmm, I guess you'd have to ask all those folks in prison........our judiciary has managed to imprison people for long periods of time with no seeming justification other than "national security."

I PM'ed my questions to AG.

I'll let you guys know what I think about this after I get his answers.

Hmmm,
What I think is someone had an interesting idea, that was not thought through before the person got excited about it.

Please do not cross post (see here).
