??? Like who, specifically. I certainly don't remember doing such a thing and I'm pretty sure B didn't. Simmo's got better things to do so ... who?
What I'm saying is that one of us singling you out is probably not the explanation here.
Never mind, B answered it while I was composing my thoughts.

OK, through this entire thread I never understood why webmasters got pissed about their link option being removed because I never posted my site link. Over time and reading the thread I see why many are upset but it's C.M.'s site and he can do what he wants. I think he has told me this in another thread somewhere, when I was ranting about something!I guess the reason I'm posting about this, although I personally don't care but looking at the complaints from people that have been around much longer than me to help bring visitors to the site on a daily basis seem hurt and confused. I see their point, more tonight than ever before. I was reading this post under "Online Casino's" this morning and it hit me like a lead balloon...

Rikkerbuddy, information on the loyalty program is available on the site - click through CM's link to find out more.
Simmo - so far so good! It's the constructive comments coming from everyone that makes things better, so keep them coming!

My point is if tag links and aka- advertising is prohibited then fine it should be for everyone. Why are long term members being rejected when reps are still posting tags? As long as the affiliates on C.M. promote sites approved by C.M. and not Rogue sites and yes I spelled it correctly maxd it should be ok to post tags.. Let me close by saying what's good for the goose is good for the gander!!I personally feel many affiliate sites are as good as several of the I-reps posting here and their tags are welcome, go figure..

I believe the Meister has already explained that he wll get around to removing those sigs not already taken down voluntarily under his honour system....when he has the time available to do so.
jetset
Thanks! Finally getting around to taking care of this issue.
Here's the (new) deal.
The group levels have been re-adjusted:
Registered members - newbies
Fully registered = 50 reps or 100 posts AND 30 days
Senior members = 150 reps or 400 posts AND 365 days
Meister members = 500 reps or 1000 posts AND 365 days.
The BB code for sigs is turned on for Senior members and above.
We also now have two levels of webmaster:
Webby - anyone can join
Webmeister - must be a senior member or above to join - or up to the discretion of the moderators/administrator.
Both webmaster groups have the same permissions. As the webmaster section expands, perhaps there will be special benefits for the meisters
In essence, the sigs are turned on for senior members and above - but the rules are the following: no ad copy, and if links are posted, only the name of the website should be hyperlinked: for example Crapmeister.com
Now if you have a website that has a spammy URL like the-best-freaking-RTG-bonuses.com - well, you can hyperlink this as My homepage
No ad copy means no ad copy. Non-casino URLs are cool by the way such as Battling Ignorance since 1973 are ok.
The bottom line is to be cool and do not exploit the site for your own endeavors. Thanks!

Cheers Bryan, this sounds cool
Being a bear of little brain (and not a marketing type) I had no idea what the term "ad copy" meant. So, I looked it up...
So, for anyone like me, that doesn't know what it is, this looks like a good description/definition for the term "ad copy"
cheersAd copy is a term that refers to the main text of a clickable advertisement
Some of the marketing tactics and parts of ads included in writing ad copy include:
Credibility - Offering the visitor believability about the product or brand.
Attention - Something that grabs the visitor’s attention such as the keywords or keyword phrases.
Promise of Benefit - Whether it is offering information or just a particular product, the ad copy generally has some promise of benefit for the visitor if he or she clicks on the link.
Action - The goal of ad copy is almost always to get some kind of action or reaction out of the visitor. Whether it is to just visit a landing page, fill out a form, or actually purchase a product, the goal of most ad copy is the same, and involves some kind of action.
Thanks Bryan!!!! I so appreciate this thoughtful plan!
Much MUCH Much appreciated!
Very MUCH!
But how do we know it will work? nevermind... My dumb brain figured it out... *GRIN*
