An idea for a tournament

There seems to be alot of regulars here on the board who play poker. We should setup a private table on Party or Planet or someplace and have a casinomeister tournament some weekend. What do you guys think?

What a nice idea. However i dont think such big poker rooms are interested. I dont know this for a fact though.
Pokerstars would be an ideal place. Ultimatebet, Primapokernetwork, or some other big room would be nice too.

The dilemma with having it on a Prima skin is that those of us who have joined other skins could not also join this other skin, once a Prima skin customer, always one and no switching, unless I am wrong?

I have tried with Bryan to get this arranged too, maybe this is something that could be organized soon.....

I figured we'd do a private tournament. Pokeraddict, to answer your question, you can have an account at different prima skins, but your alias follows you.

Could we do it either earlier on the 7th, say 15:00 EST or maybe on the 6th at 19:00 EST? Can you guys who are interested chime in here with your preferences.

For the 2 $50s, would those be single table, then the 500 be a multi?

We will have our first tournament 7th, 15:00 EST. The tournaments will be private tournaments requiring you to register through the Casinomeister forum. I just feel that Bryan is giving all of us this opportunity so we give him the credit. Therefore if you want to take part in the tournaments you need to sent me your details. My IT department will develop an interface whereby you can register for the tournament. I'll let you know as soon as it is up. The link will only be accessible through my signature in Casinomeister. You can invite as many players as you like but they will have to register through this forum. Finally to be able to play in this tournament you will need to make use of our software and have an account registered with us. You will only be able to see the tournament if you have our software. This is a rule set by Prima to prevent us to take players from each other. Please let me know if there is any download problems. I will gladly assist.

We know the first one is Nov-7th, but hopefully he will soon be posting dates for the others & detail of how we sign up for them.

Why don't you extend the 'cut-off' time for registration?
Give more people a chance to sign up!

Mind you - I'm quite happy at the moment - only a 1 in 10 chance of being first out!

Excuse me for my ignorance but can anyone tell me how this tournament works. Do I need to make a deposit? If so,how much? What is a freeroll? I play poker with my friends but as they are all Chinese I dont know the English terms.

Hi chuchu59, The only requirement is that you must be a Casinomeister member and you must register with me and later in the software as well. There is no deposits and this is a fun tournament where total prizemoney is $50. There is no rake requirements on the prize money, which can be cashed out at anytime.

I have bad news! Our tourney for Sunday will not be able to take place due to a technical problem. I will have to ask everyone to please understand. I have discussed the problem with the Poker333 Poker Manager and he has agreed to add $50 to the tournament ($100). We will have a meeting to discuss this further on Monday. I will make a post by Monday afternoon detailing exactly when the Tournament will take place. I would like your input though and I know everyone must be pretty ticked of with me but I assure you that this was unforeseen.

I've been really looking forward to this tourney with great excitement all week, while fearing it was too good to be true.
Turns out - like everything else that sounds too good to be true - this is the same.

I'm really underimpressed with total disappointment Mr. Chatmaster, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt just once, while you clear up these 'unforeseen technical difficulties'.

I just hope you don't 'unforseeably forget' your promise of three freerolls in total, the last one being worth $500...!

Hi eveyone,

I understand the dissapointment and hope you will be willing to excuse it this one time.

We have decided to have three tournaments. The date and times will be as follows.

Sunday the 21st of November $100 Freeroll tourney
Sunday the 28th of November $50 Freeroll tourney
and the final big one 5th of December $500 Freeroll tourney

All of these tourneys are planned for 15:00 EST. On Thursday I will make a post with the full detail regarding the tourneys. Registration for all the tourneys will close the Wednesday before the tourney for example, Wednesday the 17th will be the cutoff date for the The 21st. I hope this seems better and more orginized. Also I will start a new thread on Thursday so look out for it.

I had a few problems getting it to download. Norton was complaining, then Spyware guard said that the programme wanted to add something to my browser (Said F Off to that ) Then Adaware went beserk at some "malware" in the programme

It did eventually download and all ready for some all-ins

Dont worry KK. Chatmaster is a person of integrity and he will honour his promises. Just a couple of weeks ago,he helped me solve something which I thought would be impossible to work out and that was within 24 hours. See ya at the tourney.

These tourneys will certainly go on as discussed. The requirements to be able to join these freerolls is as follows.

1. You must bea member of the Casinomeister Forum. New or old, doesn't matter.
2. You must register the Wednesday before the tourney in order to be able to play, as it will be a private tourney.
3. It is a freeroll and costs you nothing.
4. There is NO rake requirements on any winnings and it can be cashed in immidiately.

Tried to register but cant even log in tonight. I "activated" my account last week but for some reason it keeps coming up with the activation wizard then saying error 108. Sorry guys but im uninstalling the site, not impressed Wasted 3 hours. I wish everyone the best of of luck
