    Forum poker tournament.....another?

I'll just start a new thread here:

As you know, there was a forum poker tourney yesterday on 32red. Although only a few people participated it was still good fun and we had a blast. Whoosh came out victorious after playing some solid poker and the fact that it was all rigged against me when we got to heads-up play.

I really think we could make this a recurring thing and this is why:

    * a low buy-in, say $5 or $10 so everyone can afford to play
    * we get to chat and know each other a bit better
    * it would be a nice break from spinning those reels or whatever it is you do days on end
    * a chance to win a few bucks
    * bounties abound, I'll gladly put up something extra to make things even more interesting

So what do you say? Should we try to hold another sometime during the summer?

Feel free to post your opinion here; anything from which type of game you prefer to when the tournament should be held to how almost illegally handsome I am.

    Let her rip!

we could beta test our poker platform, I could issue every entrant a free 10$ for the signup fee, what do you think? Definitely better than the prima software (IMO).

    Excellent idea!
Only problem is (presumably) no USA players allowed...?

As for software - ANYTHING is better than Prima IMHO!

You should create a tournament on stars.
If you can not, I will do it for you.
That way all forum members can play US included!

It would be on the iPoker network, unfortunately no US aloud :-( So I guess we better go for the stars like suggested by liquidsoap.
