    Who is this?

    Who is 'bestcasinobonusonline.org'?

These people are scamming the devil out of me to my gmail account that is only used for certain casinos that I trust.

The last email I got from them came from SilverOak@bestcasinobonusonline.org. I guarantee you that SilverOak or this other place have never had my gmail account address.

If you are reading this, leave me alone!!!

    Spammers, I get them too.

They must have got our email addresses from somewhere, since they ONLY seem to spam us seasoned players, and NOT those that show no such interest. We signed up somewhere, and they sold on our email address. Finding out just WHO did so is a problem.

I get a lot of spam from them, too. Hell, I get spam from everyone, since I started gambling on line and purchasing merchandise over the net. I just scan them (to make sure there is nothing important there) and then nuke them.

No matter how many filters and such to keep them out, it is impossible. It use to bug me, now I just take it as part of my computer time. Life is too short, no?

    Yep - I agree.
I probably get something like 50 e-mails every day, 50% of which are spam.
Only 2 things really concern me now:
    1. How did they get my e-address (especially my private work ones)?
    2. How many people are really stupid enough to fall for the spammer's bullshit... I mean, some people must be, otherwise the spammers would give up and get a real life, wouldn't they?

Whats really irritating the crap out of me is that some spammers use sendernames like SUPPORT(contact@m13.winners-news.org) or even worse, FINANCE DEPARTMENT (contact@m5.casino-winners.org), with headers like : YOUR 24 HOUR WITHDRAWL HAS BEEN APPROVED. Not.

I'm getting loads of these lately.
All spam for this new SpinWin casino, remember, that 'largest and most trusted' new RTG casino, licenced and 'regulated' in Costa Rica, that switched to non-RTG software.

Wonder how they got my email addy..

Silver Oak was originally one of Warren Cloud's online casinos that was taken over and rebranded on his death back a few years ago by.....drumroll: Tej Kohli's notorious Virtual Gaming Group.

It was listed as belonging to a Southampton, UK company titled BTK Ltd, which has other Cloud survivors rebranded as Planet 7 and Catseye.

Other well known (mostly for all the wrong reasons) casinos in the Virtual group include Cool Cat and Palace of Chance.

I'm assuming that Best Casino Bonus Online is another of Virtual's 'information portals'.

Agree on spam generally - it's the bane of every Internet user's life.

Yep, here too. Except this one goes to my email address which I have NEVER used for any gambling (except CM ). Everything else I have going to Yahoo and hotmail, which are getting their fair share of hits too. The "family" of Kevin Miller Kevin vegas Dave Miller Dave vegas is just about irritating. They almost outnumber the spam for Viagra

There is a section at Casinomeister on fighting online casino spam here:
    http://www.casinomeister.com/online_casino_spam.php

The best way to combat it is to contact the aff manager since most spam comes form ethically challenged affiliates. Once they get enough bad press, the affy's account is shut down...hopefully.

Gmail has an option where you can turn them in so I have been doing that. So far, haven't gotten any email today from them.

Nigerian gov. wants to send me millions really bad though. Although I have never received any email of that sort thru gmail. I use my yahoo account to catch all that crap.
